I tested my apartment just after the professionals tested it. I got the same results as the professional lab testing company.

I unpacked this kit and its used or compromised. The dish already has this filmy sediment in it and the growing medium bottle was not sealed and looks like some of it is gone. Someone used this then tried, or not so tried, to clean it and sent it back for a refund. So kit was just restocked and then sent out again.I read the directions, and watched the video. The video clearly shows a clean dish that you put the growing medium into and let set before you even start the sample. An unclean dish and half used kit contents makes the test inacurate and pointless to send into the lab for results, which you pay for as part of the kit. I want a new clean kit, and I don't wanna send this contaminated/damaged one back just so it can be put back together in its packaging and sold again to someone else. Not happy.

I purchased this one because the results of the test was included in the price. You get the kit in the mail with instructions on what to do. Then you mail in the contents after following instructions, and get an email with the results. You can see whatever mold grows in the petri dish before you mail it out. I didn't give it 5 stars because, while you get the results of what was found, you don't know to what extent your problem is, or how or where to fix it.

Great product, stinks figuring out why you have been extra sick over the last 3 years when you should of intervened sooner, but you had no Idea a product such as this existed. I.E buy it, and then get you Ac cleaned and buy the $600 dollar UV AC light thing and save yourself and your family...hello!

The instructions were a bit long and vague

I feel kind of cheated. The label clearly says "Easy to use (3 tests)" making it seem as if you get 3 tests. You don't, you get 1 test. One petri dish with growth medium for one dish, to collect one sample. I feel this is intentionally dishonest.If you're counting on 3 tests DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. If you want 1 test for $40 this is the product for you unless you want to do the indoor vs outdoor comparison; then you need to buy two kits.I can't help but to feel this is a total scam as far as packaging and number of tests is involved. I thought I was buying 3 test kits and I received one. I had one spot I needed tested and I needed to do the air settling test to make sure the air is safe for a soon to be lung transplant patient and all I get is one test. So it's either do the air settling test or test an area that looks like mold.The picture shows what you get in your "3 Test" kit, which is the supplies to do one test.

Easy to use. Instructions couldn't be easier. Company did what they said and contacted by email quickly. Got the results we needed so we can move forward. Would not hesitate to use again if needed.
