Just received this product. I tested it in a small tank of water and it works well. According to some reviewers saying that this product works for few months and battery drains quickly, I think the low and affordable price is sufficient enough to leave you comfortable and by the way, this is not a gadget to be used on a hourly basis, once a day is ok, if on hourly basis then you should go for the costlier ones which use mains AC current which are in thousand rupees range.In my place . i purchase 1 tanker of water for rs350, once every 2 weeks, during summer season and many times water over flowed from overhead tank without my knowing, or you can say due to my ignorance, so compared to that this product cost is nothing, and the product performance is SUPERB. Its sensitivity is good, the sound output quality is so loud and clear, that anyone , anywhere in a house one can hear it clearly. This product saves water wastage. Thanks to amazon for bringing such affordable and very useful products to our door steps with your quality service. Thanks.

The product I have taken is very good and if you use it then the water in your house will be saved. If you install the water tank properly, it will alert you exactly why, at the right time, at the right time. So this product is at such a low price, according to me, that you can absolutely take it which is yours. Will save water.

This item has 2 inherent problems in the sensors.1) After a few days, a thin layer of white oxide deposits from the water forms on the sensor and the alarm stops working.I had to climb on the tank, pull the sensors and remove the oxide layer by rubbing emery paper. Every week I had to do this which was a big nuisance.2) As the tank is closed, due to high humidity, sensors stop working.This happens particularly during rainy seasons.Recently,I purchased 2 graphite rods (available with Microtail in Amazon), removed the existing sensors and put the graphite rodsin its place and to my pleasant surprise the alarm woks perfectly.

very good. easy to install.very cheap only 239/ .i have also ordered including wire for which rs 100 paid extra. but wire kept for future . at present i have connected it using old landline phone wire.sensor adjustment requires 2 to 3 attempts for proper suspension in water tank such that water level is just below of outlet pipe.sound is loud with a pleasant music follwed by voice warning in hindi and english which sounds as water tank is filled up close the water pump. and in all cases u will listen .value for money.

Useful and works as expected. Except the hinfi voice. Can't they not make it with English or just done music? 3 starts for the lack of universal language option or inclusivity. Otherwise the product can get 5/5. Easy to install and works great over a year.

This device is much needed when we use big tanks and we do not want to waste our water.I want to mention few points about this device1. This is batter operated so no electricity shock chances.2. We have to turn off manually the alarm when tank is full but thats not big deal I hope for anyone.3. In my case after 1 month of use I am facing issue in switch where sometimes even I have switched on the alarm still alarm does not work so I figured out that this is because of the switch it has been bit loose now. So I will request manufacturer to use better quality of switch. When we are using some Indian product please provide good quality also so that everyone can encourage to purchase in house products and will promote our Indian small scale companies too.Overall I will recommend to use this device.

What can be more simple: Most independent houses have multiple overhead tanks. It may not be a good idea or even possible at times to go to the tank to check level for self. Why not simply install (simply fix at a level) water sensor, connect it with a separately bought 1Amp rating electric wire where you can switch on off your Iota Water Tank Alarm and it’s done. Too simple to just make it work, take help of some technician, if you still can’t. And it’s done. Stop checking water level by walking up to the tank and peeping inside.
