Killer customer service, great value
As I've built up my tool collection over the past few years, I've been very impressed with the overall value and build quality of Tekton. Almost Snap-on quality for Almost Harbor Freight cheap is a win in my book. This weekend was the first time I've had one of their tools fail - the 21mm end of one of these flare nut wrenches. And I'm not gonna lie - I was torquing on it a lot harder than it was designed to take, no doubt. Suspension disassembly is a bit outside the typical use case for a flare nut wrench. But I needed a pair of 21mm for the job so I used what I had, and it snapped at the corner. Oops.Tekton replied first thing Monday to my support pictures of the failure, informed me these had been discontinued but that they'd send me a replacement tool of my choice instead.Wow. This is like Craftsman when I was a kid, before they sold out. They stand behind their stuff and even when they can't provide an exact replacement they go the extra mile. Will continue to buy and recommend their tools

Updated: Customer service lives! ( was Careful! Poor sizing and likely to round hex heads! )
Update: Review changed from one star to fourYou'll notice that Russ from TEKTON responded to the poor reviews concerning wrench sizing. Considering how inexpensive these wrenches are, I was first surprised that someone actually expressed concern. I was far more surprised when Russ followed up via email and replaced the wrenches with a new set that is within spec. He even checked them before sending. The replacements are perfectly fine tools, but Russ' actions have far more value than just correcting what was a manufacturing issue. I certainly don't hope to buy more faulty tools, but considering the expense and service, I'll continue buying TEKTON products.Original review:You're likely considering these to work on brakes, the most important safety device in a vehicle. These wrenches look and feel top quality, but the sizing is horribly inaccurate. As soon as I placed the 10mm on my hard line the amount of play was frightening. My cheap Husky wrenches are like precision scientific instruments compared to these.I have Tekton tools that are great, but these flare wrenches are definitely not in that group. I bought the three metric set. Because they're so cheap, it's not worth the headache to return them. I'll likely carefully all of the set to see if any are usable and toss those that aren't safe to use.

They're pretty good. I've used flare wrenches that spread open ...
Flare nut wrenches are not something to cheap out on, but if you're gonna, these are pretty good at about 20% of the ones most pros use.I've used flare wrenches that spread open way too easily and round the fitting. These won't as far as I can tell.Others have complained that they're too clunky and use brute size to overcome poor steel quality. That may be true, but at least they work. Those ears aren't opening. You can do better with an expensive professional grade set but for the price I don't think you can beat these. They work well in my application. The only issues seem to be geometric. If the bulky head or extreme chamfer makes it impossible for you to get them seated on a nut, you got a problem. If you can get them on, I think you should be fine.I use these for occasional brake and fuel line work.Made in China.

Worked for me!
I saw a certain about of reviews mentioning that this product brand had issues with 'deforming' as a result of too much torque. This was not the case in my experience. I had to replace a fuel filter on a 1993 Toyota, the original filter I think and the 14 mm in the package did the trick. So, based on research I was ready for the fact that it may be a little tight and this turns out to have been the case. I get the wrench on the bottom nut...it feeds on easily running it up the line as this is how it is meant to perform. I get a nice purchase and...nothing. Does not budge. Granted, I am not the specimen I once was and the leverage is not optimal, so a couple more oooomphs confirms that this is not loosening. I realize I need some leverage and find a 14 inch length of aluminum pipe that will just fit over the other end of the wrench and voila...loose it comes. Now that was a certain amount of torque that the wrench handled fine. So for the cost of the purchase and the end result, I can only highly recommend this as a very neat solution.

Be careful with these
Be advised, these are poorly-designed flare nut wrenches. In addition to having a relatively gigantic head -- as others have mentioned, to compensate for the poor metal quality -- they also have a sizeable chamfer on their inside surface. This chamfer reduces the effective depth of the wrench head on the nut by about half, meaning that if the full depth of the head is 0.5" (for the sake of numbers), only ~0.25" of it is actually contacting the nut. This becomes a problem because this "usable thickness" is right on the centerline of the head, meaning that it's impossible to get a good grip on a bolt that is flush against a surface -- the nut/bolt must be raised a bit in order to prevent buggering things up.I've decided not to return this set due to its inclusion of a 19mm, 22mm, and 24mm size (which most sets do not have); it's been handy for O2 sensors and brake/fuel lines (which is fortunately their primary intended purpose). But if you wish to make use of them for any bolts/nuts not raised against a surface, they'll just end up buggering things up until the entire lot is no longer usable.

Not impressed
I cannot recommend these wrenches. The ones that I received are too loose a fit to be useful. I measured the 10mm wrench to be 10.48 mm. I expect a good wrench to be 10.05 to 10.19 mm. One expects a flare wrench to provide a good fit to avoid damaging hydraulic line nuts.

Good luck finding a set with the wide range of sizes locally, let alone at a fraction of the price if you do! Needed the largest size to loosen & tighten a vey thin walled nut on a Nissan/Infiniti EGR pipe for an SR20DE motor. The fact that it contacts all six sides of the nut is what prevents you from distorting the nut in the first place. Once you do, there's not fixing it, let alone getting a proper fit/seal again.

and fit my hand comfortably. Like others pointed out as well
The wrenches are exceptionally well made, strong, and fit my hand comfortably. Like others pointed out as well, their heads may be on the larger side and not able to reach into tight spaces, but I have not yet encountered a job where that would be necessary.

This is a good set for my brake fluid flushes used with my Motive Brake Bleeder. So far I used it on a Rav4, Corolla, and Outback.I used a label maker to print labels of the sizes as the stamp is not easy to read in my dimly lit garage tool box.
