If it had only worked long enough
Received item, checked and it does indeed have very nice features; I managed to test PTZ controller and worked very well. Next thing I know the screen changed to half its size horizontally, and then turn into a little line. Packed it back and returned.If you get one with good warranty and survives for a long time, it'll be worth the money.

Good Unit, Bad Case
The unit itself is great and reasonably priced. The problem I am having with it comes down to the case. The case is cheaply made and came apart. The loops that hold the carrying strap both fell apart, so no more strap. I would hope that the seller could redesign and find a better company to sew the cases.

Good product
For the cost this is excellent. Works great, easy to use.The only cons:Needs an assortment of connectore for power connection, it comes with a two prong plug, but most cameras use a three prong now.This also does not support POE net cameras, that will be a must very shortlyBut if your working with standard BNC cameras, it works great

For CCTV troubleshooting this is perfect.
Need to test whether its the camera or the cable...done.Need to test whether the Ethernet cable is straight, twisted, or broke...done.Don't have a camera but need to test line integrity (Built in color bar generator)...done.Need to test PTZ control (And have an Rs-485 or RS-232 compatible camera)...done.This guy is mounted to my hip most anytime I go out in the field anymore...the only thing I can't do with it is test PTZ control on RS-422 Analog cameras...it's become indispensable.

A must for every Camera Installer
Awesome tool especially nice to have the ability to power the camera prior to having the power supply up and running. You can get all cameras installed and focused in one fail swoop. You can finish up the power supply last if you so desire
