Q: Are these in men's sizes? If so, what would fit best for a woman's 8.5 shoe size?

Yes they are men size. You should goole a foot pocket chart for men and woman. Remember to add a half size extra for your soaks. I wear a 4mm soak with these fins.

After looking further into this my recommendation would probably be size large as that covers size 10-11. Normally I would suggest the medium as you want the fit to be tighter rather than it being loose and you are normally 9.5 but with the booties being 3mm it may require you to go up a size. I cant guarantee that this will be the perfect fit for you but that would be my recommendation. I just worry that the medium may be too small and would be uncomfortable. Regards,Andrew

My son has a shoe size of 9 and 1/2 in US size. We got the large. With a 2mm bootie it's a little loose, but works. He loves the fins. You have a size 11 in US. Go with the large if you want them tighter.
