Lotus SmartSuite 9.8 Millenium Edition

I wanted an entirely new version of Lotus Smart Suite for my new Windows 7, 64 bit computer.It installed perfectly, and worked the same as always, but then noticed that after I had usedLotus, the next time I tried to boot the computer, I couldn't. It took 4-5 tries to get asuccessful boot.Bottom line, Lotus won't work well with Windows 7 64 bit O/S unless you also install Virtual XP.Once I removed the program, my computer problems resolved.So, if you are willing to install Virtual XP on your Windows 7 Professional Version, you're good to go.I opted not to go that route.

This did not properly load on my Windows 7 Professional platform laptop. Fortunately, I had another laptop with Windows Vista that I was successful in loading the Lotus software and accessing old Lotus files of mine, then re-saving as Excel files. So my overall rating of this software is OK - operated fine under Vista operating platform and converted to files that I could then work with in Excel.

I only got it because my POS system uses it I do not use any other parts of it. Still trying to master Open Office which is free vs. MS Office which costs hundred and dollars. I am familiar with it more than Open office but finding out it does not do much more than what Free Open Office does.

Still does the job. BTW In windows 8, I had to execute the setup directly, as the autoplay feature is not working - not a big surprise.I had a number of old wordpro docs and 1-2-3 files which I didn't want to convert as often formatting etc change, so this was a good alternative.

I haven't installed it yet - have all this year's stuff I need to file income taxes as soon as this month is finished - will wait until the next year and this is past history - wasn't aware of need to trash the old to show in the new but I'll figure it out - have used Lotus 134 for my serious bookkeeping both business and personal for about 30 years and it does the job better than anything I tried.I'll let you know when I do it - I'd appreciate any clues you might have if you have done it -

I needed a solution to read and convert older lotus wk4 files that would run on Windows 7 pro.I fooled around with XP mode and older version of lotus 123 but needed a better solution. This is it! It installed cleanly using the setup application on the disk and is working well. I'm mildly concerned about how long it will be viable as it's already been discontinued but it's worth running it as long as possible!

There seems to be a glitch when I load in the program using the keyboard and mouse.The screen locks up.But, when I load it without the keyboard AND THEN plug all back in, it works.Also, Mill 10 was a challenge to load - said registry error. Got it going by opening the files and selecting the .exe file

As a long time XP and Lotus 123 user, I was concerned that this software would not function on my new Windows 8.1 PC. Installation was easy, and my transferred spreadsheet from my XP computer seem to be working just fine. I also transfer some Word documents, and was very happy to learn that Lotus Word Pro was able to handle these also. This will save me from purchasing MS Word for my new system, please note that word processing is a very minor part of my computing.

It may be old, but those who started with it back in the day are glad they didn't have to switch to EXCEL since this version is available. Still think they should have kept up and stayed in the game!

It is performing as expected, albeit the expectation is relatively modest. Need it for old ...... worksheets.

I need to have windows XP on my computer . Need help from computer shop.
