No. The description clearly states that only SATA type drives are supported. So an M.2. PCIe drive will NOT work. When I looked up the Plextor it appears to be PCIe so it should not work. An M.2 drive with a SATA Interface like the Evo 850 MZ-N5E500BW should work.
