Finally found this gem!
As a mama, I prefer to be dye free but often felt that my kid “missed out” on colorful treats, play doughs, cupcakes, & cakes! We found Watkin’s all natural food dye & it’s a win for our household, the colors aren’t as bold as the typical mainstream treats and snacks, but a beautiful pastel! I do wish there would be an option for larger bottles but I am truly so grateful for this option/ingredients!

Impressed
I recently tried the Dye Free Food Coloring, and I’m genuinely impressed with how well it performs as a natural alternative to artificial dyes. As someone who’s conscious about avoiding synthetic additives—especially for kids’ food—this product is a refreshing find.

No red dye
I have a granddaughter who develops headaches when she’s ingested a red food dye. I like this product because the red coloring is from food, therefore my grandchild doesn’t get a headache.

Vibrant Natural Colors with Minor Limitations
The Watkins Assorted Food Coloring - Pack of 4 offers a natural alternative to traditional synthetic dyes, featuring red, yellow, green, and blue colors derived from vegetable juices and spices. This gluten-free and artificial dye-free product is ideal for those seeking cleaner ingredients in their baking and cooking endeavors.Pros:• Natural Ingredients: Made from vegetable juices and spices, providing a healthier option for coloring foods.• Vibrant Colors: The colors are bright and appealing, especially when used in frostings and icings.• Easy to Use: The dropper bottles allow for precise control over color intensity.Cons:• Color Intensity: Achieving deep or bold colors may require using more product compared to synthetic dyes.• Heat Sensitivity: Some colors, particularly green, may fade when exposed to high baking temperatures.• Consistency: The natural pigments can settle, necessitating thorough shaking before each use to ensure even coloring.Final Thoughts:The Watkins Assorted Food Coloring is a commendable choice for those prioritizing natural ingredients in their culinary creations. While it may require some adjustments in usage to achieve desired color intensity, its health-conscious formulation makes it a worthy addition to any kitchen.

Good effort, but blue and green need assistance.
LOVE that these are natural. But warning (after the fact, as of today, April 28) -- the red and yellow do great for dying eggs but you will not get any blue or green coloring for eggs. We ended up just having to squirt color straight from containers to get some blue and green color. We did not let eggs sit in dye for 12-24 hours, should that have worked. But next time, I'll look elsewhere at least for those 2 colors.
