Camco 43713 RV Shower Head Kit with On/Off Switch and 60" Flexible Shower Hose (Chrome)

My dad has kept the old shower head that came with his RV and finally it gave out. I ordered this product and my dad was surprised that the shower had so much water pressure and he didn’t even know it. It was easy to install and works perfectly!

We purchased this shower head kit to replace the one that came on the outside shower of our rpod. The one that came with the rpod leaked at the hose connection to the RV and also did not shut off completely with it's 'off' and 'on' control on the handle.The hose on theC amco 43713 Shower Head Kit is easier to attach and tighten than the original one, and when screwed on with a little plumbing tape on the rpod fitting, it did not leak at all. The on/off switch on the shower head works well, without leaking.I would purchase this product again.

Great shower head for a good price. It has a nice stream, I haven't tried all the settings but I like the full stream and also to conserve water in my camper I don't use full force water anyway. I also love the on off switch, again very necessary for water conservation. The hose is very flexible and long enough to be able to sit down and use it which is great for me as I have muscle weakness and can't stand up for a full shower. Overall I'm very happy with it and would recommend

I ordered this after breaking my ankle/leg and needed a shower bench. This could not have been more handy. It really saved me from getting my cast wet, and the on/off switch was great because I couldn't reach the wall mount. My husband was happy for the wall mount so he could take regular showers. After I was done needing this showerhead, my aunt claimed it to wash her dogs with, but she ended up giving it to my grandma, who is a senior citizen.

My kids were doing typical kid things and somehow kinked / broke the hose where it connected to the head. No problem, I'll just order another one as we've been super happy with the prior unit. The new unit arrived and is a cakewalk to install, Unscrew the old hose with a box-end wrench, and then screw in the new hose with the same box-end wrench. Tada!Sadly, a few things seem to have changed over the past two or three years.First, the spray selector function seems to leak -- our preferred setting is to have only the outer orifices spraying, yet somehow the central orifices seem to always be leaking a bit. This reduces the overall water pressure available in the head, which means the spray pattern is lazy and lacking. I can hold my thumb tightly over many of the central orifices to plug them, and the spray pressure and pattern noticeably improves.Second, the on/off switch worked wonderfully in the prior model. This one requires immense thumb effort and, more often than not, still doesn't fully turn off the water. Instead the water drizzles out, which often becomes irritating as it spews a loud dribble while raining down on the plastic RV shower floor. Maybe if I had one of those half-million dollar RV's with an all tile shower?The shower head is "fine" for what I paid, I wish it was as good as the same model from two years ago.

LOVE this showerhead! I live in an older home that doesn't have plumbing in the wall for a regular shower, and having it installed would cost a fortune. When it came time to replace the old handheld shower that was here when I moved in, I purchased this one and have NO regrets at all. I really like the fact that I can stop the flow while lathering up so I don't waste water. And as another reviewer said, the hot water always seems to come out first when you turn it back on, but not so scalding hot as to be uncomfortable. Much better than a blast of icy cold water!The sliding switch that cuts the flow IS a little hard to move (especially with wet hands); I suspect it will loosen up a bit with time. It took all of two minutes to install (once I FINALLY got the old one off!) and looks great with the other chrome fixtures.At this price point, I think it's fantastic, and would buy it again.

We replaced the standard white plastic RV shower head with this model. Easy to install. Works as advertised, the on/off switch on the handle is a great feature for water conservation. A definite upgrade!

Update: we have now had this installed for a year and I did think that the on/off toggle would loosen up over time, but it hasn’t. The switch is extremely stiff and is still extremely difficult to toggle off and on. I have to take off a star because of that. Otherwise, flow is great.—————————-We wanted something that would totally stop the water while showering to conserve water. Our factory install was awful, but this works perfectly. And when you switch the water back on, it keeps the temperature. Easy to install, just has to thread it on in place of my factory installed one. We didn’t use the included wall bracket. We just fed the coil through our existing one.

I went to install the Showerhead out in the back to a portable RV shower unit and encountered leaks at the showerhead itself. I would not recommend buying this item to anyone. How this is a #1 Bestseller on Amazon is beyond me. Misleading representation perhaps on Amazon?

Bought this shower head for the trailer as the one that came with it didn’t have enough pressure.This one is even worse.Garbage shower head.
