Crab Paste with Soya Bean Oil

Used for seafood boil and really took it to the next level of spice and unami flavor. Can't wait to try in more dishes.

can't taste the crab, spicy

Crab paste on top of California Roll is very good. On top of baked potato, very good, on tuna salad, very good. On top of imitation crab sticks, very good. Also on: fried rice, hardboiled egg, spaghetti, chip dip, steak, toast and added to balsamic dressing. Flavor is a good balance of garlic and crab. I'm not sure why it is so red, I think they add paprika to it.

Not even open soaking wet this is unbelievable

I bought this to cook with fresh crab meat, it is different with the real crab flavor, and pretty oily. It didn’t add much flavor to my food.

It was pretty good stir-fried with crab meat and noodles. But then I checked the ingredients and disappointedly found this crab paste is mainly made from soy and a little bit of crab meat, instead of true crab roe. 17 bucks is too pricy for a jar of crab-flavored soy paste.
