Nature Spirits & Elemental Beings: Working with the Intelligence in Nature

Uh, a bit Dated and Feels in the Author's Head as Reality
The title is one to reel you in if you like to read about communication with nature or the elements/angels. In the sample, I was excited that it began in Co. Donnegal, but it very quickly was clear it was an adventure occurring in the author's mindset, like an imaginative journey and not in the real-here-and-now. Authenticity is key with books like this and the author perceives this as happening and as his reality. It seemed like his daughter was sending him on a shamanic journey, which are often personal. He's not a writer, so it is not well-paced, eloquent, or well-written. I received an updated one, so it would offer the original and then his commentary to say, oh, well, this ended up being this, and that ALMOST worked, but it kind of canceled out what you were reading, because he had evolved. I very much believe that people believe what they see and experience and it works for them. But it's not everyone's journey to share it. This is a Findhorn Book title, and why I chose it, believing it to be aligned with their 3 principles and perhaps for some it will be inspiring. In comparison to Dorothy Maclean's work, which rings with a global truth, this one feels fake and as I said, occurring and transpiring for the author, and not very evolved. Lorna Byrne is another person whose work rings with a truth anyone can come to. This felt like I was amid a rip-off of LOTRs! Returned and couldn't finish, as my own experiences are much more heightened.

A special book, nothing else like it
I'm a fan. I had the earlier edition of this book but gave it up along with the rest of my large library when I relocated. It was one of maybe 3 books in my collection that I really longed to have back. So I was happy to discover this new edition and buy it. The author is one of a kind. Nature seems to have gone out of Her way to reveal secrets to him so he could inform people like me; and so intelligently and sensitively that he is listened to and respected by at least part of the establishment--he even is part of the establishment--for talking to nature and communicating about it. His drawings of the intelligent energies of plants, trees, etc. are perfect - along with everything else he happens to be an accomplished artist. (If you want, you can find his art online and see him speaking on YouTube--I have sort of a crush on him now.) I try to communicate with nature like he does, and I'm still hoping, but he is a rare special person who could receive this gift and put it across for humanity. And help awaken us. Thank you, Marko. Call me anytime . . . .

An intriguing exploration of elemental magic and nature spirits
This is an intriguing book about elemental magic and nature spirits. It’s an earlier book, with some commentary provided at a later date, which makes for a fascinating read because you get to contrast the earlier perspectives with the later awareness of the author. I also like that the author shares drawings of the elemental spirits. About the only thing I don’t care for is the tendency to link Christian mythos with the interactions he has, but I recognize that some of what the author is sharing is filtered through the spiritual path he walks, so I recognize in turn that informs his writing and experiences of the spirits. Overall its a fascinating exploration of elemental magic.

A little hard to follow, still a great book
In the beginning it was hard to learn the structure and follow the context. As you get to sections 6,7,8 the book was wonderful. Time to make change on how we interact with the world. We are guests here.

An enjoyable read which correlates with the books of Dick van Romunde and Rudolph Steiner. Some interesting exercises to try on one’s own to nave their own experiences. I also enjoyed his art work.

Absolutely love this book
Absolutely love this book! Echoes a lot of my experiences. if you're at all interested in working with nature spirits, I would highly suggest this book! He offers a very in depth account of his experiences and since this is the second edition, he also includes how differently he feels or sees some of the things he originally wrote.

I love this book
I may not believe it all but I love it nonetheless. There is something about it that makes me happy and, as an artist, the line drawings delight me. Check it out, find your wonder and feel free to believe.

In depth coverage about elementals
I was looking for a book which would give an overview of nature spirits and working with elementals, and this book was better than I could have ever expected. It was thorough, experienced and gave it in a language which works with this world. The nature of these things is visual, non-linguistic and requires communion and being a blank canvas, open to receive and connect in whatever emerges. This is very sacred work and this knowledge has already helped me in my work in the past few days
