OXO Good Grips Swivel Peeler

This is one of the best peelers I have used and a noticeable upgrade from older ones. It is very sharp and works quickly, making peeling much easier. It has also made a big difference for my arthritis, reducing strain on my hands. What I like: Very sharp and efficient Comfortable to hold Reduces hand strain Durable and well made Sleek design Things to be aware of: Blade is sharp, use care Overall: A very effective and well-designed peeler that makes a noticeable difference in ease of use.

High quality. Very sharp. I first bought one of these peelers in September 2021and loved it so much that I purchased a second one in March of 2022. It has been my only peeler since, now 5 years later it still works very well but has dulled slightly. So...Today 4/26/2026 I ordered a new one and decided to finally review this product. It fits comfortably in the hand, has never rusted. Please note that I have never put it in the dishwasher. I highly recommend this product.

My first impression was WOW this thing is awesome! Over the years I’ve bought and thrown out so many peelers due to dullness or not being sharp enough. This one is super sharp and peels effortlessly and swivels a lot (which I don’t think is necessary with peelers). I’m a bit concerned about cutting myself if not very careful, however for storage I kept the little plastic cover that came with it. Not sure how long it will last as it was just for packaging. I still think it’s a great buy and worth the money!

After 8 years I still have this and it works wonderfully, my mom has the same one and it's lasted over 20 years. It can be used by both left handed and right handed people. It does occasional clog but only if I'm doing a lot. It is really durable and has not rusted at all. It is really easy to clean!

Not bad. Sometimes a bit of skin gets stuck in the side of the peeler but most of the time it works fine.

Excellent vegetable peeler! Only peels off what’s needed in a super thin layer so you don’t lose much of your food to the bin. The blade is super sharp and tapered at just the right angle to easily cut through even the toughest of vegetable skins. The blade can rock to adjust for any angle. The handle is comfortable for use in either hand. The end has a beveled edge for taking out notches. It’s sturdy and well built. I’ve had this peeler for over ten years now and it hasn’t dulled or rusted yet.

This is the best vegetable peeler I’ve ever seen. It makes light work of carrots, and breezes through potatoes and sweet potatoes like a dream. I wish I hadn't suffered through my old peeler all these years. It is super sharp though. I think there is a reason it comes with a blade cover, so I respect this tool.

sharp enough to get through the peel of butternut which is what I wanted. I loved the part that takes out the eyes of potatoes. The grip is wonderful. This peeler and well-made and should stay sharp and last for years (as long as you don't put it in the dishwasher-just rinse and put away).

For years, YEARS I have been going to my brothers and occasionally helping peel the odd vegetable. I always LOVED his potato peeler. I hinted again and again that I REALLY, REALLY wanted the exact same peeler because literally I loved it. Anyway fast forward to this Christmas and I was peeling vegetables at my brothers again and loving his potato peeler as per usual. And I’m like YOU KNOW WHAT I’m finding it. I’m getting it. I need this. So I reverse image search his potato peeler and LO AND BEHOLD there it is. On the Amazon. Now I don’t get my hopes up too much because I’m used to disappointment in my life. BUT it arrives and I say to my family “WE ARE HAVING MASH TONIGHT I HAVE A NEW POTATO PEELER I HAVE TO TRY IT OUT”. So I get it out the packaging and I’m trembling with excitement. I start to peel and IT IS THE SAME. Oh my goodness I was so happy. I called my child in to use it, I asked my partner to use it. “IT’S SO EASY TO USE YOU GUYS I AM THROWING MY OLD POTATO PEELER AWAY”. And I kid you not, every time I peel a vegetable now, in my very own home, I am having a great time. This is the best potato peeler in the world ever. YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR LIVES IT WILL COMPLETE YOU AND ALL YOUR VEGETABLE PEELING NEEDS. FIVE STARS!!

Super...

Melhor descascador! Não machuca a mão, facil manuseio!
