Mann Filter CUK 2132 Cabin Filter With Activated Charcoal for select Smart models

Mine is a 2016 ForTwo EV. The old filter weighed a ton. Once removed, this replacement was installed with ease. Again be careful with the first of the plastic tabs you must remove. I broke mine, easy fix, a couple of self tapping screws. My Great Grandmother would say "A man running for his life wouldn't notice it" I believe with the screws, replacement next year will be easier. Airflow has improved by 200% Very happy!

Our cabin started smelling pretty funky when we switched on any sort of climate control. Changing out this filter is simple and took me just 2 minutes, including the time it took to open the box, but not including the time it took for me to watch a youtube video on how to do it. It really is simple, If you can change a household light bulb, you can do this too and save some money. There are many brands to choose from. this one is working well and fit perfectly. You can save a little money and get one without activated charcoal, but I think this one will control odors and filter out fine particles better.

No problem with the filter, but note the part number: "CU 2132". Note, there's no "K at the end of the alphabetic portion of the part #--that means that's this one dispenses with the activated charcoal. If that matters to you, be sure to get "CUK 2132". I didn't pay attention and got this one, and while I'm happy to use it as it's a perfectly serviceable cabin filter (Mann makes a quality filter), I prefer the charcoal filter type, and so will be careful to order "CUK 2132" next time.

Easy to install once I discovered that the compartment in the 2019 Smart Fortwo in on the passenger side, not the driver's side.

Fits in my 2015 Smart Fortwo ED. The air seems clean.

This was a perfect fit for my 2008 Smart car and believe me when I say it's not easy to find parts for. With that said this item is missing a star for the price is still a bit high for what it is your getting but I can't complain too much for it's still less than at the manufacturer.

i think it works better then original and is so much cheaper. Nothing else to say except check the old one before u buy this one. I change mine and it was till clean
