I am a beginner at macrame so was not sure about what kind of cord to buy. After some investigation, I decided to buy the 5 mm cord in cotton for a curtain. This was the best buy I could find and I am pleasantly surprised with my purchase. It is of good quality, a natural color, and the curtain is turning out better than I could have expected. Yea!

This cord is very easy to work and soft on my hands. I used about 80 yards out of 100 on the spool and I only came across 1 cut in the cord (this was not an issue for me). The natural color is perfect and I will purchase this again.

I love this cord! I've lost count of how many times I've purchased it already. It so soft, doesn't fray, can be brushed out easily, and the natural is a beautiful color! I've order both the 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm. I'm happy with all of them. I've also ordered the royal, its a strong color and keeps its consistency throughout the roll. The price is the best I've seen for the amount of yarn too. I highly recommend using this yarn!*yarn in the photo is a mix of the 4mm and 5mm, the colored pieces are a different product.

Not a value for money. Because of this my project is also now incomplete. Really bummed! :(

This macrame cord is perfect for projects. The sturdiness makes for great plant holders. I also love the softness of the cord itself. You could easily dye it or keep it natural. Great product!

I didn't go the red, white and blue route. Instead I used the cotton as well as smokey blue yarn and a 1" wide orange cotton macrame cord. I don't have a working camera or I's take a picture. I used a complementary orange ribbon and a white and black ribbon picturing dog collars, footprints and food bowl.s I took real dog bones (Wishbone brand) and painted the assorted sizes bright cheery colors.I glued the dog bones onto the carefully woven rows of wool and cotton. It looks great, briight,and cheerful and a wonderful surprise for a family with a new puppy.

I ordered the 5mm cord. Very soft, very easy to work with. I hadn't done any macrame in over 30 years and it was like riding a bike. Very easy to pick back up. Comes with a handy little instruction booklet which shows you a lot of useful knots. I used 5 skeins of the 5mm cord for this project. I didn't have anything left over.

I would tape/glue the ends as you work with it. They unwind fairly easily. Otherwise a good product. I don't know if this is over priced but the quality seems good so far and it looks lovely.

This macrame cord works up very quickly and is easy to work with. It is strong and durable and is certainly suitable for all your larger projects. Would be good if the manufacturer could offer this cord in a variety of colors.
