Wave Motion in Elastic Solids (Dover Books on Physics)

This is a great reference and text book. Each grad student in my research group learns the fundamentals of elastic wave propagation from this text, and often gets a free copy from me - as my copy is completely worn out of years of usage. I picked up this book for its consistent notation and strong coverage many many years ago when I was a grad student, and I am still using it regularly.

I don't know why this book is so cheap. It covers the fundamentals of wave propagation in solids and has great citations.

弾性体の波動と振動の教科書です。自分の研究と大学院のゼミで使えないかと思い、安価なので購入しました。内容は新しくはありませんが、弦、平板、棒などの波動について詳しく書いてあります。英語のレベルも高くないので、院ゼミの教材として使おうかと思っています。チモシェンコさんの本と全ての内容について比べたことはありませんが、式の解説も多い方なので、読みやすいとは思います。
