Fundamentals of Digital Logic and Microcontrollers

I had the privilege of being in Dr. Raffi's class, and I enjoyed his class and read his book cover to cover. I liked the book and his style of writing which emphasis more on examples and the most important topics in the microcontrollers world. The only downside of this book, for me, was the fact that he introduces C programming language a little late in the book. I would like to see more C programming language examples instead of assembly. Overall I recommend this book as your first microcontroller book if you want to start with Pic microcontrollers.
