So happy
I don’t write a lot of reviews but this is really a great product. I believe I have tennis elbow after taking a 30 hour scuba diving course and using my arms too much (so I’m told). I bought a sleeve type with high ratings 3 weeks ago. It did nothing plus I lost it after the first week. My arm has not healed at all and I figured I should buy another. This was a little more pricey but it was recommended when I googled the best type of support for tennis elbow. I will tell you, it’s well worth the extra. I’ve been wearing it for a few days now and from the moment I put it on I feel zero pain. The pain has even decreased in the evenings with it off until I started overusing my arm again. I wouldn’t say that it’s comfortable but it’s not uncomfortable…. And my arm doesn’t hurt!

Just right for me
This arm band has greatly helped my Golfer's elbow condition which is an inflamed tendon on the inside of the elbow. I am not a golfer, I simply developed the condition through years of exercise, house work, computer use, etc. It had gotten so bad that I quit or avoided exercises and work that aggravated the tendons, but it never healed and it was very frustrating. I have been using the BandIT for 7 months now and the pain has all but disappeared. I wear it for lifting weights, while on the elliptical (requires push/pull action), for yard work (hedging, mowing, lifting), while painting, or any activity that requires gripping, pushing, pulling, or lifting. I have also been more diligent about simply stretching the forearm muscles (inside and outside) on a frequent basis to reduce unusual sustained pulling on the tendons and I believe that has helped too.The BandIT is easily adjusted, and can be quickly tightened or loosened depending on the activity. I am an average sized female with slender arms. As directed, I adjusted the compressors so they are equal distance apart when fitted on my arm, and wear the band about an inch below my elbow. It provides just the right amount of compression in just the right place to reduce the stress on the tendon. It is not a tourniquet and shouldn't be worn such! It almost never slips down my arm under normal use.To keep it clean, I cut a pair of old socks to make a 3 inch wide fabric band that I wear under the BandIT, and even over it if I don't want the outside to get dirty during yardwork or painting. I have several fabric bands and as such my BandIT really doesn't need to be washed because it stays so clean; I just wash the fabric bands frequently. Sock bands provide extra comfort, prevent sweatiness, and the BandIT actually looks kind a cute with sock bands! The Velcro hasn't worn out yet and it has never snagged my clothing.I have no other armband to compare it to; it's the only one I've ever tried. I will definitely buy another if ever this one wears out because it has provided substantial pain relief and allowed me to resume full activities/work. Golfer's elbow, like many forms of tendinosis, is easily aggravated and I will continue to wear the BandIT as needed to protect against re-injury. This has been a very therapeutic device for me and I highly recommend it for Golfer's elbow recovery and re-injury prevention.

Concept seems to work but not so well for men with big forearms
This does provide some support that helps with tennis elbow pain. The problem is that the rigid plastic parts are shaped to fit smaller arms and will dig into the belly of your extensors.Ended up returning this and looking for another solution.

Works Wonderfully!
This band works GREAT! Those complaining undoubtedly complain about the smallest things in life. Is it as comfortable as a feather pillow? No. Does it feel better than the pain caused by tennis elbow? ABSOLUTELY. I’ll deal with a VERY VERY SMALL amount of discomfort if it means my pain is relieved.

It works but not as comfortable as I would have liked...also it is bulky.
I have been fighting a partial thickness tear of my right flexor tendon (aka tennis elbow) for several years now. I have tried pretty much every treatment available except surgery as well as numerous different types of braces and bands. When I saw all the rave reviews and the #1 Best Seller tag on this one I thought I would give it a try in the hope that it would be the miracle cure I have been seeking.Sadly it has proven to be somewhat lackluster in performance and comfort. As a therapeutic forearm band it seems to work ok. But my big issue is with the comfort of the device. Almost every tennis elbow band or brace I have used suffers in the area of comfort. The all basically do the same thing, which is to relieve pressure from the area that is torn or strained and for the most part they all do this fairly well. But how comfortably they do it is the biggest challenge.Among the other bands I have used are Cho-Pat and the Ace Adjustable. Both of which I found to be more comfortable. The BandIT does seem to work, but it is far from being comfortable or even convenient for that matter. It is somewhat bulky and honestly not exactly attractive. The white plastic is well made and thick but somewhat clunky and makes sharp contrast against the black bands which make it very noticeable overall.Another issue I have is that it tends to slide loose when doing work. I generally wear a brace when I am working on my car and over the weekend when using the BandIT it kept sliding off as it was hot outside and I was sweating.Full disclosure I am not small, 6'3" male and 215 lbs, so my forearms are big but not body builder or Popeye big. So this may work better for people with smaller forearms. But for me the straps cut into my skin and it was very noticeable while wearing in a distracting sort of way.
