Center Hight Mount Stop Light Third 3rd Brake LED Lights Lamp Replacement for Ford 1999-2004 Mustang Cargo Lights Brake Lights (Smoke)

The install was fairly easy, although a few connectors required a bit of muscling. Definitely added a little bit of flare to my rife.

Came in on time and was nicely packaged. When installing you need to take the old wiring out and mount it on the new taillight, but leave the old lightbulbs out. Plug in the lightbulb connections in the new taillight. (I made the mistake of trying to put the old halogen bulbs in it, I didn’t know it came with LED lights installed already) lolAnyway great product, and has a cool little animation when you break. (they didn’t mention that in the description) it’s nice though.

The hardest part for me was the adhesive came a little big had to tuck it in with my key after I had stuck it on to the light other than that everything else was pretty simple

Nice quality gasket, very thick. By the time you get to tighten to make it flush with the trunk lid studs will strip in the plastic. Had to use different larger studs to mount properly, pain to find at hardware store. Looks are nice but can't give quality 5 stars at all with such issues with studs. Hopefully it continues to hold years to come.

Ok. Yes, it's not "simple" to install but if you have basic mechanical skills you'll figure it out. Just know that you will be plugging into the old light sockets. The trunk light remains but didn't want to twist in easy so I just used pliers lighty tightened around the socket and it went right in. If the foam doesn't seem to fit right, unhook the unit and flip it over. It fits on the light not the trunk. Looks sleek and fits well. You can't beat the price for led. One more step in my total restoration.

Looks great, easy to install, have to reuse your old wire harness. Make sure wiring is sitting correctly during install or your trunk will leak.

Waste of money and time. Sits too high top center and extends too far out. Should be flush with the trunk on all sides and it is not. Also too tight to twist in the trunk bulb socket (left it loose and jiggles). The first two sockets (from left to right) for the LED's were also too tight but gave in. The plastic flexes as you turn the socket into place and is likely to break in a short period of time because of the stress. I now don't believe the previous reviews to be legit. Really annoyed.

I got worried looking at some of the negative reviews but honestly this light is amazing. Gives my Mustang a slick new look and it was so simple to install that a girl with no car knowledge was able to do it with no help! Worth it!
