National Geographic Moon Wall Map (42.5 x 28.5 in) (National Geographic Reference Map) Map – December 28, 2016

Got it for my former comanding officer in 2009. Still has it on his wall with pride!Exellent choise for a present if you are in to maps and geography.

Lou Grant had this poster framed behind his desk on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. I thought it would be a nice touch point to look back on for me, as the Ed Asner character later on his own TV show influenced me to become a journalist. Oh, and it’s a nice print, too!

As we begin to colonize the moon, this is a perfect map to pick out great prospects for real estate. However, I'm worried the Chinese will try to lay claim to the abundant resources on the moon. This will inevitably lead to the next great world war, which will lead us to the eventual demise of the human race. I am predicting intergalactic battle fields were we must fight through virtual means, much like in the game Star Craft. As a result, our stock piles of Red Bull and other high energy drinks will be depleted and the world economies will crash, bringing a new world disorder, much like in the movie Book Of Eli. The industrial downfall will reverse global warming, and bring on an ice age never seen before on earth, which will end all human existence.

Nice large map, arrived on time. I had the old one from years ago, it wasn't shiny and the moon color was more realistic, not bluish. Overall not a bad map, lots of info. Will look good on a spacious wall.

This moon map, although in black and white, has what looks to me like all of the moon's craters and formations named. It is a great conversation/educational piece. I plan to frame it and display it in my home.

A real beauty

Incredible map. I love the Moon. Not only is it shipped in a strong Amazon box, the poster itself is in a sturdy and clear plastic tube. Also, the poster was rolled with paper to protect the entire print. Great job. The poster is big so framing it will cost a bit. You won't find this size in an off the shelf generic frame.

Fantastic map of both sides of the moon, with hundreds of craters labelled and all landing sights identified. As a writer of science fiction stories, I use this map to plot my character's actions.
