Best self sealing envelopes I have used to date
We usually buy envelopes like this from Walmart, but we have been sending out more letters during COVID-19 and I guess others have as well because Walmart is out most of the time. We bought these and I won't go back to the Walmart ones again. They were perfect, good security and not see through and the seal was super great. If you made a mistake sealing it, then you have to basically destroy it to open because you cannot open from the seam again. The best and great price for 500.

Envelopes
These #10 envelopes are perfectly designed with peel away sticky strips to seal them shut. The sides are opaque providing needed security. This is the third box I have purchased.

Great Value!
I had not waste. All envelopes had great adhesion and were of sufficient quality for the job. Some reviews note adhesion issues - again, I had none and used all 500 of them on a mailing.

Decent product and value.
I used to think all envelopes were pretty much the same, not so. While these envelopes are closer to the true 24 lb they aren't exactly 24 lb. Good enough for what one gets, since the stock is not flimsy nor does it damage easily. The strip of adhesion does not go all the way to the end of the flap like many have said, but this is because it is not a true security envelope like the ones USPS and other carriers use, which seals end to end and then you use a strip to tear open. These seal but do not wrap seal. However, the small sections without adhesion do not stick out or warp the envelope. I do not feed them through a printer so depending on if one does and which printer they use, this may or may not have a different result.** Security: the envelope has a security pattern inside. It's ok. It will keep the standard eye from reading the standard letter but it isn't 100% and if held to a bulb it's possible to see inside. It is not possible to READ the inside by this method.**Flap: The flap is a good sized one and extends far enough onto the envelope proper to give it a good sturdy feel to the thing. Some brands have a small flap which doesn't allow for a proper adhesive strip so when it closes it either bunches up or warps with small pockets of unsealed paper. This is why some envelopes have to be taped down. This issue is not necessarily solely an adhesive one, it is the adhesive + the flap size. These have good flap sizes and fair to good adhesive. Therefore I find that these do not require tape to seal and one can use a max of 3 sheets folded inside without the need of taping anything.** Paper stock: 24 lb paper stock can be used with these envelopes. I do and there is no issue.**Adhesion: all the lopes I used have the strip. Some reviewers mention that many don't have a strip. I have not found this issue thankfully. It should be noted that some have a better strip than others. Quality control is touch and go apparently.**Country of origin: China. Most envelopes on the lower price scale are made overseas. Sometimes one gets lucky and finds good quality at a fair price from Canadian manufacturers. American made lopes are too costly per unit, but it should be noted the quality would be on par with these or better.Consumers should keep in mind that China the country has a province called: USA.Many countries do. So some products that may be marked "Made in USA" are actually made in USA, CHINA.Products made in America are usually stamped "Made in the USA". The "in the" part usually denotes American manufacturing. Keep this in mind when country of origin is important.Overall: recommend as a sturdy envelope option but since I do not feed them through a printer, I cannot vouche for their ability in that area. Will handle stick on labels and direct writing with gel ink without bleeding through. One gets 500 units in each box.

Work great in the printer
Have no problem feeding these into my printer. Others were always jamming or skipping. With these I've been through a whole box almost and haven't had a problem. I'm definitely going to buy them again.
