How to Design and Evaluate Research in Education

I had to purchase this textbook for a course I am taking and was very apprehensive due to the price. However, this book has been very useful. It is easy to read and understand and will come in handy for future reference and research. I will NOT be selling this book, but will be adding it to my library.

It was a struggle at first because it would not let me rent it because the book is not available on windows8 apps. I was able to download kindle reading app for pc and then it worked. definitely glad it worked after all the struggle and contacting support.

Good resource to have when trying to learn how to frame/design research projects

This book is an excellent resource if you'd like to put the most modern and best practices in research into action. The book contains exercises to put the concepts into practice, along with online resources that connect to each chapter.

Easy to understand and follow even if you are not very familiar with statistics. This was required reading for an online graduate class and I found it easy to understand and apply to my educational practice.

I just wanted to point out that the Kindle version, is not actually a true Kindle version as one would expect. It reads and looks like a PDF, so there are no control over text size unless you simply zoom out or in, which is a total pain. Of course since it is technically a kindle version you can only read it on a Kindle or a Kindle app and you can only have it on two devices at once. Very disappointed and would have probably opted to simply buy the book if I knew I were paying that much for such a poor conversion.

Couldn't have made it through my dissertation without it as a reference.

This was a required text book for my class. I found it to be extremely helpful with doing my work, taking my exams and creating my research proposal.

Each chapter presents the main ideas concisely, with tons of examples. Each chapter also includes a major example, with highlights pointing out key ideas from the chapter. The examples helped me with my editing formatting, highlighting, and if a section is what it is intended for.
