The media could not be loaded. Easy to install, works well. The normal "white", can be changed from a blue daylight time, to a warm orange tone. Those are plenty bright for normal room lighting. The colors do a good job of filling the room. The remote has the ability to do the basic functions of on/off, dimming the main light, changing to preset colors. The app is how you fine tune colors, color changing patterns, and dimming colors. Bluetooth connects easily, no problem with either Spotify or Amazon music. Also, the deepest blue color acts as a black light, which became my favorite setting.For install, I didn't realize products outside the US have different colored wires. This has blue and brown. Googled how to connect to to my red white and black, and it worked fine, but it initially surprised me.

I have installed my own ceiling lights and fans since I was a teen. The install was super simple, and the light works as expected. Most of the time we use the bright white setting. When we use the wall switch, the light returns to the same setting as was last used. At first we thought it would return to the original dimmer setting once the wall switch was used, but this was not the case. The music and color changing through Bluetooth and the app is novel and fun, but not necessary to just use the light as a light. We installed this in our home office and love it. It gives great ambiance to the room. Oh and since the speaker is bluetooth, the app is not necessary to play music. You can play through any device that can see it. I have used computers as well as phones to do connect, play music and even take calls. It can only output though, so you must have the ability to use your computer/phone’s microphone separately.In short, the light is novel, installs quite easily and I love it.

I know there are critical reviews of this product, mainly surrounding the use of the app, but I think *most* of that is easily resolved by making sure you use the right app. As the Q&A shows, there are 3 apps to choose and you have to find the right one. Before I purchased this light, I tried to install one app and it forced closed. I then tried i-light Pro and it seemed to work without closing (just couldn't locate the light for obvious reasons).Installation: The instructions are in small font, but explain how to install the hardware well. I'm used to black/white/green wires, but the instructions do state what colors on the fixture align. It took me about 30 minutes to hook it up. This doesn't attach to an electrical box, rather it is attached to the ceiling drywall using 3 screws (anchors included). Gave it 4/5 stars due to small print and the wire color.Setup: the instructions do include remote functionality that I honestly haven't read through thoroughly, and also includes barcodes to download the three apps. I preferred using the app to test/change the settings and will give the remote a try later. Turn the power on at the switch, started the app and you can easily change colors/settings in the app. There's a bit of a learning curve in the app usage, but if you have Philips Hue lights, it's very similar to this interface.Features: Here's where I really like this fixture. I we able to pair the speaker in the light to my son's Echo Dot Kid's Edition and he can now listen to music, books, etc. via the light's speaker. It does tend to distort the sound of the volume is too high, but it's very clear one you find the "sweet spot" of volume. It'll even flicker to the music (see video). Great, fun little device! Brightness can be adjusted for low/nightlight, or will light up a room easily on the basic not-color brightest setting. I haven't played with the timer yet, but it's basically a sleep timer from what I see in the app. Well worth the money for all that it offers.Other cons: The only thing I found to be a bit of a pain was this only seems to pair with one device at a time. I paired with my phone to use the app, but had to unpair so that I could hook this to the Echo Dot. You'd have to keep doing this if you want to switch back and forth.Helpful tip: To easily swap between paired devices, I found this to be the best method. Once you find the correct app that works on your phone, pair the light and use the app. If you want to pair with Echo or Google Home devices, first disconnect the speaker from your phone and close the app. Turn the light off using the wall switch for 10-15 seconds, then turn it back on. Using the Alexa or Google Home app, pair it to your smart device as per Alexa/Google instructions.

I found electrocution guy on Dec 2024 and paid $350 to instal it for my daycare nap time. It works 1.5 months and Bluetooth dead, I am not able to connect anything to light. It is just light now :( very disappointed.

the lights are good but the sound in the speakers is horrible. very low quality and no bass

A few things to know, it is dimmable through the app on your phone. Do NOT install a dimmer switch because then it will not work correctly. The app is not perfect. I have to connect it to Bluetooth once to change the colors. If I want to play music, I have to make a second connection via Bluetooth. They both connect at the same time. Also, once you log in to Spotify, on the app, you must still open your Spotify app on your phone to actually play music. the speaker is nice and loud. The light is nice and bright. Great purchase.

We put it in kid bedroom. Everyone loves it!! Especially my 7 yrs old. It is very light weight made of plastic not glass but it looks gorgeous when lights up. The sparkles from the light shade look very nice! It's amazing! We made every function work out quickly with an android. If you experience any connection issue, make sure bluetooth is on in your phone and press the button at the center of the remote. Regarding light, it give ALL ranges regarding brightness or color. This is an amazing product! Best 90 bucks ever spent! Now planning disco party with it😆 we just installed it for several days. Hope it will last long.
