I’m in love with this camera! I originally wanted a Go Pro but felt the previous models had some type of issue based on customer, friends, and family feedback so I wanted to go in a different direction. After doing some extensive research into an introduction with this type of portable action cameras, I decided to try out the Akaso EK 7000 Pro. I’m a videographer and aspiring journalist so I need something that is versatile in getting me unique shots I wouldn’t be able to get otherwise. I’ll have more to say after playing around with the camera but the shipping speed was amazing! Turnaround for me was within 24 hours from ordering. It arrived well packaged. I wish there was a booklet letting me know about all the accessories I have and how to use them. Pro tip: On YouTube there’s a kid that goes over the bundle of accessories. Just type in Akaso ek7000 every attachment on YouTube search and you’ll see the video for help. It’s a 12 minute video but it’s most helpful. I’ll post some pics and vids in the coming days and revise this with my overall experience. But so far? After playing around with some settings and doing a few test runs, we’re off to a great start!

So at first glance it looks like it came with so many attachments to stick and put all over the place to record. I did notice that it did not come with a micro usb so be sure to purchase one separate. The batteries came partially charged so it did not take long to charge them to 100%. The app was pretty easy to use and link the camera. Would be nice if it had instruction instead of a QR code to scan for it but that’s a small thing. When the camera is linked to a phone the camera display does not work at the same time. Only a problem if you have the camera and someone else has the phone thing you both can see what’s being recorded. Light weight and a Good product.

Good camera for a budget beginner filmer. Does everything I need and pics up volume fine in garage filming setup.

This camera is high quality. I bought it for my upcoming vacation and I love all the features so far. Getting it hooked up to the WiFi was a bit challenging but I found a YouTube video on how to do so. One of the questions I had before buying was do the pictures go to the app? Yes, this camera is app enabled as well as the other version of this camera.

Update review.I initially purchased this camera and had issues. I did leave a poor review at that time. Since then, this company reached out to me via email offered me a replacement at no charge and shipped it to me at no charge which was extremely unexpected. The customer service with this company is phenomenal. I would definitely continue to buy this product simply because they know how to treat their customers. This camera appears to work better. There was just a glitch with the initial, but these people went above and beyond to make this right!!! do not be afraid to buy this product or work with these people. Great job extremely pleased. I will be a lifelong customer.

Picture quality is really good, video image stabilization is excellent. Sound quality wasn’t that good, not sure it may have been the vibration through my roll cage. We’ll worth the money. Great deal!

Disappointed and frustrated with the camera. Purchased this camera to help record off-road adventures and motorcycle trips. Camera is continuously loosing WiFi connectivity with phone, iPad or laptop. No option for a Bluetooth connection. If not losing connection camera stops recording after a few moments. Battery life is not the greatest either, upgraded batteries to improve battery life.

This product is fantastic. I do a lot of traveling and hiking and this camera captures the beautiful, and stunning pictures I see along the way. I highly recommend this camera
