Frigidaire 5304482075 Damper Control Kit with Heater for Refrigerator

Part works great, have had installed for over 3 months and no problems. Installation difficulty was probably a 3 out of 5. I had the water dispenser and had to google for disconnecting, which was actually easy. Directions come with the unit but are small and difficult to read. Also had to pay attention to the fact that my fridge had the defrost heater and that part needs to be put into this one. not a big deal, but just be aware of it. would buy again, but hope not to.

Don't wait to install this and find out it doesn't fix your problem. Now I have this $185 part I can't return. My refrigerator when from freezing everything to not even getting cold after installing this part. I gave up and purchased a new refrigerator.

Was missing the spring that holds the damper closed. I had to take it back out, install spring from old unit and re-mount unit back in fridge. Should come with all the parts needed.

It's almost identical to the part I was replacing , easy to replace , seems to be working properly !!!

Product worked perfectly. It was the fix for my problem of warm fridge while freezer was functioning perfectly. Damper door was not opening on my failed unit which restricted airflow into the fridge from the evaporator.

Fit perfectly. Works great now. Saved me lots of money.

It arrived on time and in good to excellent condition. It fit well and works even better. About 45 minutes to install and return all the trim and screws to proper position. Refrigerator is no longer freezing everything.

The damper was making a grinding noise and the fridge would not shut off. The was the second time had to replace this assembly. Watched a video online and replaced in about 30 minutes. Two months later everything is still working.
