Hoverboard, 6.5" Self Balancing Scooter Hover Board with Bluetooth Wheels LED Lights for Kids Adults

I have a 4 year old that loves this thing. It took him a bit because it wasn't balanced out when it arrived and needed to be calibrated to be flat. Once that was done, he hasn't gotten off it. I usually have to kick them out of areas of the house they're zooming around in and causing issues. (winter time, in summer it'll be outside) Update 1/24/24: Still working fantastic and I love it even more. We have a different one without the "auto-off" function if you're feet arent on it. My kids will ride that one and fall off and it leaves marks everywhere. This one shuts down automatically and doesn't leave any marks. Awesome! We only let people who haven't used one decently to try it on this one because of that fact

Terrible experience. In addition to wrong advertising, the return was even worse! First, the battery wouldn’t last for more than 45 min, we would charge for 4 hrs and then it would die again in 10 min. It has no power that’s advertised and can’t even go up the slightest hill, not to mention off road. Unstable! My daughter fell off of it three times because it wouldn’t stop when she tried (she’s very experienced with hover boards). A $ 100 board we had previously worked 10 times better. Once they approved my return, I paid almost $ 100 to return it. Miserable experience. Never buying from this seller again.

You'll find this hoverboard on amazon and elsewhere under different brand names, different colors, and maybe some different lighting. They all come in the same generic box, with the same generic manual. Overall the board works great, but battery life is pretty "meh" especially for adult/heavier riders. 70lb kids can get an hour or so of indoor use, adults over 150lb may find they get half of that. I'm generally skeptical of the specifications listed on both amazon and in the manual that comes with the book, I may do a teardown and look at the batteries eventually - to see what they're actually rated at and if they can be upgraded. - Amazon listing says this board is capable of up to riders up to 270lb, manual says 200lb is the maximum (and less than 150lb is ideal) - Amazon listing says the board can do 8mph, the manual says 6mph Regardless I like these boards, and the kids love them and adults do too - after a couple hours of practice I think most kids will have it down pat. The biggest downside is the battery life, it takes hours to charge and can either last 20 minutes or 1+ hours depending on how you ride, weight, etc. The wheels/"suspension" setup are not really good on all-terrain as they advertise, going over small bumps is doable with practice (like, from street to driveway of wood floor to rug) - the ability to go over bumps also depends on the weight of the rider. This thing is really only suitable on relatively flat surfaces, you probably won't want to ride on grass or sidewalks.
