This is exactly as described. Real bone (although I don't know what from and it doesn't specify this anywhere???) Has a good weight and has worked well on my cards. Seems like it will last a long time.

After 6-7 years, my old (real) bone folder had acquired a number of chips, & I wanted another real bone folder.Meaning, that some archaeologist, in the distant future won't be digging it up along with all the other plastic disposable stuff like pens, razors, straws & plastic bone folders!This bone folder also has be shaped to conform better to my hand, making it more comfortable for me to use - which is an important factor due to all the arthritis I have in my hands.This bone folder works perfectly. I use it to open my mail (I do wish I didn't get so much of it), & is perfect for Origami, card making, collage & any other paper craft requiring scoring & folding.

If you have a lot of paper to fold, this is a must! I've been folding newsletters for months with my fingers and dare say that I don't have fingerprints left on a couple fingers. Then I found these gems. They really get the job done and provide a clean, crisp fold of several layers quickly and easily. Wish I had found them sooner!

I am a Hobby Card maker. I use bone folders to get a crisp fold on cardstock and also to sometimes curl the edges of paper to provide dimension. This is the 3rd bone folder I have purchased. I found the size is perfect to use and I do get great folds. I don't see any ridges as some have complained about. The folder is very smooth and easy to grasp. The edges are thin enough to curl paper without being sharp. I would purchase this product again.

this is a rather longer bone folder; great to use with score board and burnishing paper. great for people with larger hands.

Comfortablke in the hand, cleans easily in water. Nice follow up by seller to make sure everything was ok.

A simple tool, but designed perfectly. The angled tip is great for scoring, and for smoothing a fold at an atypical angle. Rests nicely in the hand like a standard knife and the rounded handle doesn't dig into your palm when you have to forcefully press - like with a thick fold.

I've only used my 7 inch bone folder once. It felt sturdy but just a little thin in my hand. I was only working with paper and it did a fantastic job of making my creases. I suspect it will work perfectly fine to crease bristol, paperboard or box cover as well.
