The media could not be loaded. I originally purchased this tracker for my very anxious Vizsla. Ensuring he was getting enough rest was vital to his training. As he had allergies, the shaking and scratching indicators were also very attractive (but both are also stress signals). As others point out, the device needs to get to know normal for your dog so you have to wait 14 days for shake and scratch data, but that was fine for me!He was very anxious about hands approaching him. We had a different tracker previously which required you to press to sync, which became a bit dangerous. The Animo syncs regularly by itself! No hands needed! (You have to be in range of course).Sadly, our V crossed the rainbow bridge, but we've got a new puppy and it's back to being super useful! I love the sleep score over night, especially when you're training a pup, and day time rest.I'm surprised to see poor reviews here as our experience has been amazing. I recommend it regularly, and always get questions about it on my IG when I share the information.

Easy to install & use app. We have two trackers now. Excellent for keeping track of your dogs activity

Having just recently acquired a puppy, this looked like a great opportunity. I have a smart watch myself and enjoy tracking my own exercise - so why not try the same thing with the dog...It paired very easily with my phone, and setting up an account on the app took no time. The mechanism to attach the device is simple and secure. At the moment we are mainly using the harness because our little pup is very small and we are wary of taking him out too much with the collar. He also still scratches at it quite a lot! I tried attaching this to the harness for a few days but it wasn't really showing accurate results - so I did a quick search and it turns out that having it on the collar is a must.Since then I have had it on the collar for a few days and it does show an accurate representation of active time, including walking and running. The charts are easy to read and I like the idea of having a bark meter as well - if this verified to work and makes it out of beta mode. However, at the moment the collar is not ideal and we need to take it on and off a lot as he gets used to it, especially with this extra weight attached, so I am planning to save it for later. In addition, although the sleep tracking is a useful concept, we are going to be keeping pup in a crate for at least the next year and all recommendations seem to be that it is far safer to remove the collar at night in that case. This means we will miss out on sleep tracking. If there was a way to attach to the harness and track activity that way, maybe with less precision - using a firmware/software update - that would be a great addition not only for puppies but for grown dogs that like to sleep in crates.

I have been using this for nearly a year now, it is a fantastic piece of kit that has really helped me keep track of Zeus' activity and general health. The app has had regular updates to iron out any flaws and I am notified if there are increases in scratching and shaking which really shows when he might need flea treatment. Zeus also had an injury to his eye, and I was able to track his sleep patterns to see if he was uncomfortable, which he was, and I showed it to my vet. I would recommend it to any dog owner

It seemed like a good idea to check on your dog's health. BUT you needed to be on the app in order to make the collar gadget work. No matter what you did the app would not work. So item is not fit for purpose.

Highly recommend . Think it’s great . Am a dog trainer . Think gives everyone inside what’s normal your dog . Be able spot any illness sooner rather than later .
