Highly Insightful - Leads to understanding the physical layer of Computation
Computational devices are ubiquitous - yet the layers of abstractions we have constructed on top of the naked foundations give the illusion of ... what may as well be black magic! This book helped me peal back the curtain to the nature of the physical foundations of computation: under the Algorithms , Virtual Machines, & OS Thread Schedulers there is a world of bits and circuits: Schuam's Computer Architecture helped me comprehend the structure of Von Neuman machines, cache lines , CPU registers and the hierarchal memory model that underpins modern computing.Kudos to the author !

Well-Organized
This book is well organized and flows well from one topic to another. It also uses language for people who know a lot about computers and those who do not.

Nice for review
This is a nice book for review of the basic concepts of computer architecture. Like other Schaum's outlines books, the concepts are explained in a concise manner with examples and solved problems to reinforce and clarify the material.
