Good quality product. Easy to install ( 15 minutes if trailer is pre wired ). Good range of adjustment on camera. 5” monitor is just the right size and gives a very good quality image.

I bought this months ago, but waited to review it until I actually got to use it in a real world. I bought it on clearance for a great price hoping I didn't make a mistake. I'm happy to report no mistake was made and that it has made a huge improvement to towing our 36' toy hauler. Our camper was already prewired for the camera, so it was a simple 15 minute install including recaulking the housing. I brought our truck into our shop to mount the screen and this is where I was extremely impressed. Our shop is built out of 4 sea containers, then wrapped in metal like a pole building. Reception is extrmemly poor for cell phones. Our camper is parked about 100 yards from the shop and even from that distance and the truck being in the shop I still picked up the camera and the movement around the back of the camera. On the road I can easily see 3 lanes of thraffic. The picture quality is decent and much better than some cameras I have seen in older motorhomes. There is some lag time, but I feel it is minimal and more than acceptable in my opinion.. It's great to let you know someone is behind you and for passing other vehicles. Of all our upgrades so far to our camper this one is easily in my top 3.

Plug and play right into my 2024 Coleman 17r. no drilling or wire splicing needed. Connected easily and works great!

It pays to buy Brand Name! Effortlessly installs in a camper pre-wired for a Furrion backup camera system. The camera works perfectly and the connection was flawless and without the need to sync the camera with the receiver! It brings two ways to mount the receiver; a suction cup mount and a flat surface mount. I had previously purchased a lower priced (not much less) “Furrion compatible” camera and receiver with a 7” screen that would not stay on more than 30-seconds at a time. Support had me purchase an”rectifier” but that didn’t work either so I sent it back. I HIGHLY recommend this Furrion camera if you’re looking for ease of installation and reliability! Don’t waste your money on cheap knockoffs, they’re not worth the wasted time and effort!

I purchased a Furrion FOS05TASF 5" Vision observation system in July. Even though I could find it somewhat cheaper elsewhere I bought it from Amazon because of their hassle free return policy. I installed it soon after I received it, the monitor powered on, the camera worked and I seemed to get a decent picture, that was the extent of checking it out at the time. Due to work and travel commitments I wasn’t able to try it out thoroughly on a trip until now and unfortunately I’m well beyond the merchandise return window or I’d send it back.I’m leaving tomorrow on a long trip with the 5th wheel and wanted to go through the monitor and camera settings and familiarize myself with it. I didn’t want to have to fiddle with it while driving down the road. I wanted to turn on the “on screen guidance” for backing to see if it was beneficial for me, this is where the trouble started.From the menu screen I could touch and highlight a selection to bring me to the submenu but that’s about it. Touching the items on the submenu screens would not allow me to select any of them including the back button so I have to press the on/off/menu button to return to the menu screen which is pretty much useless to me if I can’t select anything. The troubleshooting section of the instruction manual doesn’t address this problem and I see no reset button anywhere on the monitor. At least I get a picture of behind my trailer. Hope I can see behind it while I’m on my trip. I’ll contact Furrion and see if they can help me with the settings.I’ve read lots of negative reviews on these cameras and was hesitant to spend $500 on something with such random reviews but the reviews on any other RV camera system I found, wireless or wired weren’t any better.

Super easy to install. One major thing is left out. If you are using a Chevy or GMC 2016 or newer-you need a 7 way adapter!!! Product number 2021132201. I would have finished installing the camera with in 10-15 min but because I didn’t know this-it took me 3 hours. Lippert customer service (owner of Furrion) said they receive calls all the time about this and when I went to the camper place to buy it, he said the same thing

Mounting had to be modified, because my camper was pre-wired for a different brand camera. Connectors to camera from camper were not compatible, but no problem as a unterminated wiring harness was included to splice together.Other than that... works great. Highly recommend.

This is a great camera. We are pulling a fifth wheel, and backing up can be cumbersome. This camera has been a game changer, in that it gives a good clear picture of what is behind us, making maneuvering a breeze. It’s also helpful in traffic to know what’s going on behind you. I think it’s a great buy for the money!
