Cooking & Baking Class Box Set

I was looking into cooking subscription boxes for my 7,8, and 9 year olds, but found they were mostly nice picture recipe cards and did not seem worth the price, so I bought this box set and the global cooking book instead. I love the step-by-step pictures and the selections. So far, my 8 and 9 year olds who have some prior kitchen skill have managed to make a nice batch of snickerdoodles and banana bread with minimal input from me (although they somehow got "3/4 teaspoon" and "3/4 cup" mixed up for the baking soda and learned the hard way that that was important - but the second batch was excellent). It would also work with the 7-year-old to do alongside a parent or older sibling. My 9-year-old is the real little chef/future restauranteur and already has several more bookmarked. Even though we have a few other kid cookbooks at home, I think these were worth it both for selection and ease of use, and were definitely a better investment than subscription recipes.

My daughter loves this cooking/baking set! She enjoys picking out recipes to try and they are simple enough for her to do pretty much everything on her own. She is very excited when she is able to create her own meals!

My 8 year old granddaughter made a mug cake right after opening it up. It tasted good too.

I love this book set. I bought it for my 7 year old. She can make most of the recipes with only a little guidance. I love the choices of recipes too. Most are things picky eaters will like. These book have more kid friendly recipes than others I have seen. The picture s and instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Definitely a great set of books. I bought mine used through Amazon, the books were in great shape, and the price was much more affordable.

Got this for my 5 year old niece and she is OBSESSED. Told me that “she thought this book would be boring but it’s really not!”. Also, it’s fun being the taste tester for her yummy treats :)

Perfect to share with 8 year old who could choose recipes to try, and added benefit was a 2nd Grader could read ingredients and numbered directions...so many learning opportunities and good recipes!

Perfect for Young chefs! Got these for Christmas, and they are perfect! TheyLay flat so no back and forth while cooking. Easy but REAL recipes. Directions are clear and photos are helpful. Would definitely recommend for anyone who has kids wanting to learn to cook!!

Looove these books!! I’ve added it into our homeschool curriculum for my 6 and 12 year old to have something to do together and it’s been a hit! Everything has turned out perfectly and delicious and the kids are enjoying soo much!

I ordered this set for my nephews who love to cook and help in the kitchen. I was taken with the gorgeous photos and easy to follow step by step directions. The recipes look really delicious and they are of varying difficulties for younger children and older children. I ended up purchasing the iBooks version for myself because I want to try out some of the recipes as well. Would highly recommend. The books are really fun to look at. So colourful.

Great book set, fun illustrations and photos. Very easy to follow and fairly healthy meal options. My kids love it.
