Easy install, My problem is that it does not turn off. Camera is constantly recording. I back my truck in the driveway i'm at least 35 to 40 Feet from the road on a quiet street. I'm not sure if its going on cause of some traffic but when i check the camera it recored for 8 hr straight. Not happy, so now when i park i have to unplug it.Update. Customer service contacted me and they are sending me a replacement Hardwire Kit. I could not be more Pleased with dealing with a company that backs their products. With that in mind i will change my Two Star rating to Five stars.

Ordered two of these for our dashcams, and flat out does not come with the adapter OBD-II DLC, it comes with two lan and ground adapters. I would be fine with that if it was advertised as such, but it wasn't.Edit: To be clear, the prior photos clearly showef the item with OBD adapter, and my friend who purchased it has it. However, AUKEY has decided to be deceptive and change the product photo while still sending out items that don't match the description or photos.

This replaces the cigarette lighter charge cable. It plugs directly into the OBD port and makes the wiring invisible.I ran mine in my rear view mirror housing and then tucked into my headliner and shock tower, then straight through the dash to my OBD port. No wires hanging down or anything.

This plugged right in the OBDII plug with a nice fit compared to my other OBDII bluetooth adaptors in other vehicles that I own. Wire was perfectly long enough for my wife's Buick Enclave.My only complaint is the wires coming out of the sensor on each short end should come out on the long side that faces the top side towards the headliner so it looks more esthetically appealing. It's not bad because I cross tucked the wires to leave as small as a footprint as possible but on the next gen product this should be taken into account.

WARNING: This product doesnt simply plug into your OBD-II port like the description says. This is a 3 wire hardwire kit that installs to the fuse box, and a normal person would have to devote hours to learn how to install this as well as buy additional electrical equipment for a successful and safe install. The description is deceiving and I am sending this back. Disappointed in Aukey on this one. Dash cam is awesome though.

Makes installation of dashcam ridiculously simple plus enables the vehicle monitoring feature for when it is parked. No splicing or searching for a suitable “hot” wire to connect to. When you compare the price with other wiring options and the fact they do not include the motion sensor, it’s a bit foolish not to buy this item.

My first one arrived defective. The second one works great. I installed behind the rear view mirror have the wires hidden in the trim all the way to the OBD. It took less than 10 minutes to install. Anytime someone comes near my vehicle the camera turns on and records.I am using this on my Aukey DRO2, Apeman C450 and Rexing. It does only work as a source of power for the Rexing. I would expect it would work on any camera with a mini B power port that has parking mode. It works perfect on the Aukey and ApemanI highly recommend this product.UPDATE: I am having to remove a couple stars due to the following:1) The motion detection is so slow. I can approach my vehicle from the front, walk around the drivers side and get in before the camera turns on and starts recording. Its sort of pointless if the motion detection is so slow the action is missed.UPDATE 2: Aukey has awesome customer service and responded to my inquiries regarding the issues and concerns I was having with this product. They promptly sent me a replacement. I have not installed it yet but will bump my review to 4 stars because Aukey stands behind their products.

Mounted to left of DR02 Dashcam behind Black Mesh. Ran wire and hidden to Fuse Box. Had to cut hole for plug (used pruner). Works perfect. Turns on by itself, flashing green light means its recording. Shuts off by itself within 30 seconds. Highly recommended!
