Wahl Groomsman Rechargeable Beard Trimmer kit for Mustaches, Nose Hair, and Light Detailing and Grooming with Bonus Wet/Dry Battery Nose Trimmer – Model 5622v

Strong trimmer. I have had this trimmer for over 2 years now and have used it weekly, about twice a week, during that entire time. The battery has only just started to not hold a charge for longer than 20 minutes. So, for $6.50 I purchased 2.4v 1100mAh AA Ni-Cd battery for a rechargeable exit sign (2.4V 1100mAh Battery Replacement for Exit Sign Emergency Light Exitronix 10010036 Lithonia 10010034 Interstate NIC1394 BEL-179), then disassembled the trimmer, desoldered and removed the old 600mAh battery pack, soldered in the new 1100 mAh batteries, cleaned the inside of the trimmer head, re-greased the the gear where the motor post meets the trimmer blade, and reassembled everything. The trimmer now cuts like new and has almost twice the energy capacity as when it was new. Keep the blades clean and oiled every so often, and this trimmer will continue to serve you well.

I replaced a broken 15 year old Wahl trimmer as it died for the last time. I like the quality of Wahl products and so purchased this as it seemed the closest to what I wanted. Many attachments, and way more than I'll ever use. It seems that it wants to be more than a trimmer and it fails as an overall clipper. Very budget oriented packaging which is fine with me. Pretty eco friendly. For me, this is a loser as a trimmer. I don't shave but 2-3 times a year. My old trimmer kept a 1 day stubble look well, but would 'nip' my neck occasionally. This does not cut with the same efficiency as the old one and not as close. More like 3 day stubble. With the trimmer attachments it doesn't cut as efficiently as my old one either. It was quick and easy to get my trimming done. This doesn't cut as 'aggressively' when trimming and takes 2-3 times as long to get the same work done. The transition from 1 day stubble to trimmed goatee, now looks more sloppy and shall we say I have 'blurred lines'. Less distinction between goatee and 'shaved' face. The nose trimmer works well. I used one 50 years ago and it pulled hair out. This does a nice 'clip job'. Not sure I'll continue using it as a pair of scissors has worked since I started to shave. Overall it's ok. But, not a hit with me.

Hard to believe the cost on this Wahl... such an excellent value you could pay a LOT more for other brands and I would put this up against any one! At a fraction of the price you get quality and durability. My last one lasted over 10 years, and I finally replaced it because I figured for the price I may as well get a new one as the battery was starting to wear a bit. I'll never buy a different brand.

Perfect for any person. I’ve had this model before and it lasted for years lol I actually still have the nose hair trimmer from the first one I had. I only bought this one because I needed the trimmer.

Item came as expected. The nose trimmer is very light and feels pretty cheap, but I have not tried it yet. The clippers themselves have worked well but the guards, especially the adjustable beard guard, have 'loops' that protrude more than you'd expect. It's also not as hefty as you'd expect which can be good or bad depending on your preference. Maybe I just need to get used to it but it feels like if I don't go over an area at the exact right angle it pushes the blades further out very easily and forces me to go over spots that were not as short. This is obviously exacerbated when trimming facial hair as the contours are much trickier. Still good for the price.

Sabemos que la higiene personal es importante y más para nosotros los hombres que usamos barba, por lo que tenemos que tener una máquina que nos facilite el aseo de la misma por ello me di a la tarea de comparar diferentes máquinas y me decidí por ésta. La cual me pareció de muy buen precio y de excelente calidad. La he utilizado y sin problema he podido constatar su fácil manejo. Además me gusta que el intercambio de peines sea rápido y sencillo; y de contar con un estuche para guardarla con todos sus accesorios.

I am surprisingly happy with the Groomsman. I thought for the very cheap price it would not be any good but it has actually worked very well. I use it to trim my beard mainly but have also used it for manscaping (no cuts yet!). I also have a Brio Beardscape for most of my beard trimming (which is the Rolls Royce of beard clippers), however, the Wahl Groomsman has been excellent so far (only about a month or so). I recommend it because of the excellent price.

Me gustó mucho la rasuradora, con los peines es muy facil de rebajar la barba, con el de 3 mm y el de 1.5 deja muy bien la barba. Muy facil de poner y quitar los peinas, facil de recargar a la pared. Bonito diseño y facil de sacudir.
