I'll have to say this is way better than the Apple key board and the Logitech K750 and K780 in my opinion. The typing feel is similar to the solar K750 Logitech keyboard, with better build quality and with a more solid key feel. The K780 is a great keyboard, but it does not have solar. For Apple, the board is expensive, and is not solar. Not having to change batteries is a great thing. Also the color match to the Gray MacBook Pro is almost identical, but since the board is plastic and the MacBook Pro is aluminum of course the paint will vary a bit. Same issue car manufacturers have painting bumpers vs metal panels. It's so minimal it's fine by me! For the price the board is a great match. I would say that with indirect light, and not extremely bright by any means, I have yet to run into any power reserve issues. It's always charged enough to get me through 8hrs a day of work. In my opinion I think they did a wonderful job integrating the design of the solar panels into the board itself! I have had the board for a few weeks now and it has not once given me a random disconnect issue. The distance that it disconnects from my MacBook is about 25ft over and down another level of the house, so I would say that's a pretty decent connection. Far enough for a keyboard to extend past its use case. My one qualm is so minimal that it's really just an FYI to the manufacture for a bump to better usability, and it's so small that I would not pass on the keyboard for it. See my images above the Mute button does not have the line any board or remote I have seen has the line designating that the button is literally cancelling the sound not turning it down to 0. My advice MacAlly, use the standard, speaker with diagonal line through and you'll be golden. Great keyboard, I can't say enough.
