Adorable for the price point!
Great little rack for the money. Shipping was quick and assembly was easy. It won’t last a lift time but at this price I can buy another when that time comes.

Good product, but for assembly, read me
I haven't put any wood in it yet, but I can tell it's going to serve that function well. In terms of materials/cost vs utility, it's a good product. The down side is that the instructions are almost useless. I say almost because you can sort of use what they provide and make plans with it. Be aware that the "instructions" use ABC 123 in the parts list, then in the steps, the parts are listed as a different A B and C, and the drawing provided, then uses 1 2 and 3 for the parts. You cannot go by that. So the first thing you want to do is lay down the instructions and get a pen or marker, and (using the parts list as a guide) re-label the instructions so that they refer to the same labels as the drawing. For example "frame support" gets labeled as 2, and frame B gets labeled as 3. Frame A is 1. Do this and you'll be OK. Do it not, and you'll have to do it over when it doesn't fit.Note that the parts list shows 6 curved pieces, but there are actually two and four. So separate the two curved pieces with the extra hole in the middle - they go on the bottom of the circle, and attach to the frame. Once you get that far, the remaining four curved pieces go into place based on the male and female ends, to complete the two circles. Now tighten all the nuts and bolts, and you have a lightweight (but sturdy) frame to hold your firewood in.

As described
Its a nice lightweight rack. It would help to have 2 people to assemble, but can be done with 1. Don't overload it with wet wood, but it should be able to hold a full load of dry split wood.

This wood rack is awesome!
This is so functional and dang cute!! Talk about spiffing up your simple wood storage! Wow! We have it on our back deck, just outside the sliding glass door, loaded with wood. Makes me smile every time I look at it. Very sturdy and holds a ton of wood. The neighbor said she loves looking at it too! We bought the cover to go over it to protect from snow. Both are great! Highly recommend!

Fewer trips to the wood pile!
I received this log hoop and opened it up, only to find there was no hardware with it. I immediately called Uniflame and talked to customer service. They immediately sent me the screws, washers and nuts for assembly. There are no assembly instructions but it didn't look to difficult. Like another reviewer noted originally I had 3 holes on one hoop and 5 on the other. I knew this could not be right so after a bit of investigation and contemplation, I found that I had the rings put together wrong. Nothing is marked to indicate which partial hoop goes to which side. I finally put the hoops together again so that there were 4 holes on each hoop. Then it was just a matter of putting the rings together so all the holes matched up and the base can be attached. When finally assembled it was quite sturdy and holds an amazing amount of wood (for my wood stove maybe 5-6 days). I put it on a tarp to decrease the mess. I know that this wood holder will diminish the number of times I have to lug wood from the wood pile out back.

Chinese products need our help on occasion
I went ahead and ordered the 48" hoop because it could dry green wood on the bottom and have enough on top to last 3 or 4 days for my wood stove. This hoop is sturdy enough once you get it together. There were a few "errant" holes for assembly...5 holes on one hoop and three on the other. Both hoops require 4 hole for assembly. No big deal for me, I just drilled new hole and put together in 15 minutes. Also I was concerned that legs (hoops) would spread at the bottom with a full load of wood on them, I just wrapped two healthy rows of duct tape accross the bottom. A sturdy geared hose clamp will do the same thing. Its not going anywhere now. I'd give it five stars because I could fix its minor problem (drilling the hole) but would have to say that if you can't do this (i.e. a mechanical ability), you'll never get this thing together. Four Stars

really nice firewood holder, 48" is a great size for people who use their fireplace daily
i got this for my mom and dad for christmas two years ago. they used to walk 15 yards outside in the winter a few times a day when we use the fireplace (everyday in the winter). my brother and i bought this for them so they wouldnt have to walk so far in the cold. now during the cold months it sits outside our front door, it is the perfect size to fit on the side of the house and under the window. it holds enough wood for 3 or so days.my brother and I assembled it in under 10 minutes and put it outside late christmas eve, loaded it up with firewood and stuck a big red bow on it. our parents were soooo surprised and now they love having it. plus it looks really nice and is still in as good of condition as when we bought it
