IRWIN QUICK-GRIP Clamp Set, 8 Piece, 4935502

Excellent, strong, practical clamps for wood workers. You don't get stuff like this made in India, unfortunately. Got it for 4900 including import duty and shipping. Worth it.

First day]: this clamp set looks awesome, trying each one i've seen a very good construction, hard plastic, very hard and strong plastic, i was worried about cheape chinese fabrication, but this not, spring loaded clamps are very powerful enough for rough tasks, larger clamps are "soft grip" but really this functionality does not armfull for finesse wood or something like that, good investment, i've read many bad reviews and goods as well, and let me tell you this is a medium tool for holding things not too heavy ( in other case use metal C clamps instead ), but the work they do it's very good.Very happy with this purchase

Everything I needed all in one package!

Todas las prensas incluidas son de una excelente calidad de fabricación y funcionan muy bien. Es perfecto para quienes requieren hacer proyectos pequeños y medianos que no requieren de una presión extrema. No creo que funcionen para sujetar ningún tipo de herramienta eléctrica o algo que requiere mantenerse sumamente firme al momento de aplicar fuerza. Son más bien para pegar piezas, sujetar tablas a una mesa de trabajo o ajustar una pieza para perforar o lijar.Las prensas de resorte tienen un resorte sumamente fuerte que sujeta mucho mejor que las de otras marcas que he probado (Bessey y Stanley). Sumamente útiles para cuando se requiere sujetar algo ya sea para pegar o para mantenerlo fijo sin que se mueva. (No es una presión extrema pero soporta bastante).Las prensas de barra funcionan muy bien ejercen una fuerza razonable y con 2 se puede sujetar la mayoría de las cosas a la mesa o entre si. Estas prensas no se pueden voltear para utilizarlas para separar los elementos. El ancho de las de 6” es un poco superior casi 7” y las de 12” es de casi 14”.Las únicas prensas que tal vez no compraría por separado son las Handi-Clamp. No son unas prensas muy útiles. No ejercen mucha presión y no sujetan fuertemente. Están diseñadas para cosas un poco más delicadas y pueden sujetar piezas pequeñas u medianas en su lugar sin moverse sin ningún problema, pero si se aplica un poco de fuerza sobre las piezas se pueden mover.

Best quick clamps you can buy IMO. And good value too in this pack. Don't buy the other Irwin clamp pack with the micro 6" clamps as they are totally useless. The other two pairs in this set aren't great either, but they at least get used occasionally. The only use I've found for the teeny tiny 6" ones in the other Irwin clamp bundle are as toys for my friends kids to play with so they feel like they're helping. They're literally so weak in clamping power that I feel comfortable handing them to 6 year olds. This set is really good though as it omits those and includes _two_ slightly more useful sets of clamps. And it costs way less!I own these, a set of the dewalt ones and a few screw type bar clamps from Bessey and Pony. These are my favorite to use of all of them.

they are super handy for many things. they have rubber jaws which clamps on the wood, without damaging it, also they don't move around too much. must have if you are just getting into woodworking.
