Worked perfectly on 2006 Liberty, but boy it's a hard install
Not the fault of the kit, but the HS18 compressor design uses a press fit coil. That meant that not only did I have to buy a gear puller to remove the coil, but pressing the new one onto the compressor was very difficult, especially with the compressor still installed and charged in the car.I ended up unbolting the compressor (two in front, one back left) so it could tilt up 45° while connected. Then used lots of oil and whacks from a small sledge (rubber mallet was useless) onto a wide piece of wood to press fit. Make sure it's perfectly even against the compressor. Even a hair's difference will scrape, it's that tight a fit with the pulley on top.

Fits perfectly but need patience during install
Fits my 2006 Jeep Liberty perfectly. You need snap ring pliers, a 3 jaw puller, a couple of sockets and a mallet/dead blow hammer. First take the rad. fan off, then serp. belt, unscrew clutch bolt and snap ring and pull the clutch plate and coil off with puller. To get the new coil on its REQUIRED to unbolt the compressor to have enough room to press it on. Do not try anything else. tilt it up enough to get a few good wacks on it and it will go on. Then reassemble same as disassembly. should take no more than 3 hrs for a 1st time but unbolting the compressor is needed.

Plastic electric plug damaged in shipping.Packing could b better.Parts fit jeep as ordered. Needed another .030" shim to adjust clutch clearance.Time will tell.

No instructions, but worked out great.
Surprisingly very little online in regards to replacing the clutch and solenoid. Combined with no instructions what so ever with this kit and well after some close inspection of the compressor I determined this was pressed on . So pry the old part off and tap this back on with mini sledgehammer. GENTLY !

Parfait pour mon Jeep liberty 2006
J'ai été obligé d'utiliser un extracteur pour enlever la bobine magnétique et pour installer la nouvelle j'ai utilisé une petite masse avec un feutre auto collant que j'avais collé sur la masse pour ne pas endommager la bobine magnétique avec de petit coup. Je dois dire que la bobine magnétique dois être installé vraiment droite si non elle ne rentrera jamais à sa place. Maintenant mon air climatisé fonctionne.
