bought it, played it, loved it
It came in a nice little leatherette sleeve that I don't use, but it was wrapped in bubble, and seemed very safe and happy. It plays beautifully, but after taking a little time to adjust; I kinda missed my old school, standard deflection shaft. I know, it's weird. I had so much more control with this shaft, and it really helped a lot. I just miss having squirt to play with for effect. There's so much obvious difference that I was completely confused. Thrilled, but confused. I started watching modern pool tournaments, and noticed a serious difference in how the pros play.LOW DEFLECTION IS LITERALLY A GAME CHANGER!This stick is incredible. I bought it to replace my warped McDermott butt that I can't seem to get them to fix, and I'm not sure I care anymore. The uniloc is quite nice, but I haven't used it long enough to see how it holds up. I suspect it'll be fine, since I've never heard of anyone complaining. The only bad thing about this cue is; people not "in the know" tend to think it's a house cue, and I have to go search for it. That bothers me. I don't know what they're doing to it, especially suspicious since they couldn't tell it's not a house cue. It's subtle, but still noticeable. "Sneaky Pete" is kind of used liberally on this cue. It's far nicer than a real Sneaky Pete. Beautiful to look at, nice to hold, a pleasure to shoot...I haven't used a wrapless in many years though. There's something about it that doesn't seem to feel right. It's really good, but I guess I'm just so used to leather wrap that it's a splinter in my mind without it. That's something to keep in mind. I was going for cheap, and simple. This cue fits that bill perfectly, with all of the quality I want, without the dressing I don't want to pay for. Inlays are beautiful, but I just don't care enough to be willing to pay extra for it. This cue is perfect like that. It has the inlays, but not as garish as I find other cues to be. You have to look at it to notice. If you're used to house cues, or wrapless designs, I'm sure this cue feels perfect. It's wonderful. To sum up; I should have bought a DIFFERENT Lucasi cue, with a leather wrap. No regrets though, and I'm still very glad I bought this one. I'll love it for the rest of it's life. I just need to figure out how to say goodbye to decades of playing with squirt, and fully embrace the new awesome we have today. I guess. Maybe. I don't know.Enjoy your stick, and I hope to meet you in the pool hall. I'll be the one with a huge smile on my face as I pocket balls more efficiently than ever before.Such control.

Very Pleasantly Surprised
My cues were stolen, so I bought this one as a quick replacement until I found what I was looking for. This cue shoots so great! The quick lock joint is amazing. The shaft has very little vibration and deflection. Very clean and crisp hit. Tip is great for a stock tip (I prefer a super soft tip but this one is very close). Stick is as straight as an arrow and very aesthetically pleasing. The wood finish and pearl inlays are classy. I believe mine was a 20 oz, which was still an amazing player, but upon removing the 1.5 oz weight in the butt of the cue made it a 18.5. For me, has a perfect balance, solid hit, smooth stroke, and good look. For the price , I am so very happy and highly recommend this stick. Never was a big fan of sneaky Pete's but this one shoots like a 500+ cue and is a sleeper. If you're looking for a cue that puts you in control and doesn't bring too much attention while youre at the table, this cue is for you. Been using this one for a few months now and in no rush to get something else. Swept a lot of good players thinking they'd beat me cuz of my 'basic stick'. Super fun cue, highly recommend it.

Great Cue, Might Want to Check Out Lucasicues.com
Lucasi makes a very high quality cue for a very good price, and the LZ2000SP may be their best value. The LZ2000SP is a very handsome Sneaky Pete (looks like a house cue), but maybe too good looking for some if maintaining anomininity is of utmost concern since the stick does have inlays on the butt. However, in my view the cue is a very benign from 10 ft away, and is really what you want from a Sneaky Pete. The Uni-loc wood-on-wood is not only an solid connection, but only takes a few revolutions. The version that Amazon sells comes with the standard pro-taper zero flex point solid shaft. If you buy the cue from Lucasi direct, you can upgrade the shaft for only $60 to their hybrid low deflection shaft. The hybrid zero flexpoint is a very high quality shaft that sells for nearly $200 on nearly every billiard website. So I returned the version I purchased from Amazon because Amazon doesn't provide the ability to upgrade to that awesome shaft. The standard shaft is a very nice stick, but the hybrid shaft attached to an 11.75 MM tip is a freaking doctors scalpel on a 9 ft professional slate table. A predator equivalent will run $450, compared to a $270 Lucasi. The Predator might be slightly better, but quite frankly I'm not good enough to be able to tell because my Lucasi is a tremendous stick!

Best Stick I've Ever Played With.. And it's Beautiful
They hit a home run with this model. Perfectly balanced, the wood to wood connection is solid, and a perfect tip for my play. Hits like a medium, but ball control of a soft. Absolutely glad I purchased it.

Nice looking sneaky pete
Looks great. Will try it shortly. After thorough checking, I found there is a little dent on the shaft, but I can tolerate it as it is just about 2 mm long and the depth of the dent/hollow is quite shallow.

My shots are close to perfect!
I actually bought this back in Feb of 2019 and have not been able to replace it because I absolutely love it. I have played with a predator, different kinds, I’ve played with cuetec, different ones… this one is the one I use for all of my tournaments. I let someone borrow it one day and she kept asking where could she buy one just like mine because she felt her shots were more accurate and cleaner. This is it! I don’t know if I could replace it. It would be too hard!

Great looking Cue
Excellent quality. People pick up on it quickly due to the curly maple. I love it.
