A few weeks ago, I decided to improve the functionality of my door as it was causing problems by closing too forcefully, making a terrible noise, and endangering my children's fingers. I needed a solution that was both efficient and safe. After some research, I came across this product, and right from the start, I was surprised by how easy it was to install.The best feature is its touch-button hold-open function. This makes things much easier when my hands are full; I just have to press the button, and the door stays open until I decide to close it. Additionally, the closing action is very smooth, eliminating the risk of accidents for my children.In terms of quality, the product is well-made with good materials, and it's adjustable, allowing me to adapt it perfectly to my needs.The most surprising thing is that despite its high quality and functionality, the cost is very low.

The closer on the door of the apartment I'm renting had the little piece you slide over to hold the door open. The problem was that the closer leaked oil so I'd get it on me every time I manipulated the slider. I ended up just taking the closer off and doing without for a few months. This new closer was a perfect replacement and installed in about 90 seconds using the brackets that were already on the door. It pulls the door shut and latches it consistently, which is important for me because I have two indoor cats, and it holds the door open with a touch of the button when I need it. Easy installation instructions

This door closer/holder works beautifully! I didn't expect the installation took less than 20 minutes, including taking out the older/manual door holder. The mechanism of this door holder is surprisingly sturdy and smooth, one light push of the button to hold and another push to release the door. Overally it's great quality door holder/closer with affordable price tag.

This door closer is easy to install if you take a moment and watch the installation video. There is a QR code to scan to get to the video. It helped a lot. It works great! I love that the door closes slow and easy and doesn’t slam. It’s very sturdy.

The reviews were great so I bought this one. It really is the best I have ever used. It is a little more expensive, but it is so much better than a standard closer. You can easily adjust the closing speed by turning a knob (other closers require you to go get a screwdriver to do this, so this one is much better). It closes smoothly, then at the end for the last couple of inches it snaps shut so it fully closes the door latch, instead of just closing up to the latch and getting stuck there without latching. And the tab to get the door to stay open works great too...just press it while the door is open and it stays open until you move the door an inch or so, and it will go back to normal closing. Definitely worth a little extra cost to get a closer this good.

Works fine. Only complaint is that while the door can open to almost 90 degrees, the lock function only allows about a 70 degree opening. Otherwise OK.Update at 3 months: Unit failed. Locking mechanism no longer activates so the door won't stay open. With this style there is no manual way to lock the opener. Pretty poor to have failed after 3 months residential use.
