Fully advance key from ACC to OFF. Key easily removed while voltage still in ACC position.
Very sloppy key positioning, Even after 170,000 miles, original switch feels more positive with well defined click positions than this new Standard in my 03 Jeep Liberty. Can move from accessory to off and remove key while stereo continues to play.. (Can you say dead battery?) Will Keep original in Jeep while this one may break-in.... or Not. By the Way you need a size 10 "Security" torx/star bit to remove original. Some say torx is required for steering housing cover, mine used Philips there. Yours, may differ.

Easy to install
I purchased and installed this throttle controller with the hopes that it would even out my idle, which is irregular. Unfortunately it did not help. It is nicely built and it was easy to install however.

Works fine
Purchased to replace the ignition switch on my 2001 PT Cruiser that would refuse to turn off. The part was a perfect fit, works perfectly, and now my car turns off. The part is made in Taiwan which is good as I generally have found them to be superior to those made in China. Price was very good.

2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon - my ignition was getting flaky - ended up replacing the key barrel along with the switch actuator and this ignition switch. It was time.. careful with the little corner screw. Make sure your using the right size torx driver cuz it is a booger if you dont. Everything works great now.

Just what I needed
Worked great in my 02 TJ. Took about 30 minutes start to finish to install. Check out "o3djeeps" ignition replacement video on youtube if you want to get an idea of what you are in for.

Just what was needed
My car wouldn't start and all I could determine was there was a short in the electrical system but not sure where. I could either replace the wiring harness for the battery or the switch.Since the switch was cheaper I decided to replace it first and it did the trick. The part is standard so there is no real hassle installing it. Everything connected just fine and went back together easy.
