Absolutely essential!
I was on the fence about getting this. Thinking that I was grinding “good enough”. I had no idea how off I was. Do yourself a favor and get one. Seriously, totally worth the money. Mainly to calibrate your grinding, aim for the most grounds in the middle. With fines/coarses being about the same. There is no such thing as a perfect grinder, so do your best to average it and you’ll thank yourself.
