Unsafe, compete pile of (your choice of expletive)
It's amazing how a manufacturer can put junk in box and pass it off as good. This router seemed to be well outfitted and quite cool otherwise... but NO!The problem starts as soon as a bit is tightened and the router is turned on, this router is unusable. The vibration is so huge I had to shut it down. I thought maybe my router bit was bent, I tried others and the same problem.I put a long length solid carbide bit (tool really) in and the checked the run-out with a dial indicator and came away with 0.012 inches (ten thousandths of in inch) near the collet nut. WOW! That number gets much greater at the bits tip or guide bearing.Just for grins I tried using it with a small 1/4 inch roundover bit and at it's lowest RPM the bit's guide bearing just skipped and bounced away from the work piece. The router is unusable, worthless and unsafe.

Marginal design
Positives: fair price, useful accessories, powerful enough to cut 1 3/4” particle board (solid core door).Negative: poor, un-thoughtful design. Small power button is hard to locate, especially wearing gloves. That feels unsafe; if one needs to cut power in a hurry. The vacuum attachment, again, extreme poor design: it attaches on one side only by a single screw that becomes loose due to vibration. The small torque force from the vacuum hose will rotate the attachment into the router bit, thus getting destroyed. Had the vacuum attachment been designed with an additional fixing point its destruction by the router bit could have been prevented.

Compact and Versatile
This little router has more than enough power for what I do. With the plunge base, it feels like a full sized router. I used it to make half lap joints on an appliance cart and, with the included bits, I was able to make decorative panel sides and an inlay top. For the price, this router includes many extras that other more expensive routers charge extra for. I would recommend it as a general purpose workhorse for any skill level. Just be sure to read the instructions THOROUGHLY before using.

Came with a short
Product came with a short in the cord. I ended up having to cut about 9" old the cord off in order to get past the short. The white wire was completely stretched and was shorting out.

Didn't last 5 minutes.
Bought this router to trim out a laminate counter top. Within three feet down the counter edge the motor started sputtering and popping. Turned it off, then back on and noise was gone so I continued on. Started sputtering and popping again so I quickly tried to finish the edge before it died, No luck, the router died in less then seven feet of trimming a laminate counter edge. Sent it back for a full refund.

The clamp breaks!
I liked the price of this router, and now know why it was so cheap. The clamp unfortunately broke after a few uses and I cannot get it to stay in place. Not satisfied with this purchase. Too late to send back.
