Don’t buy these they are not good what so ever they wires connections are not copper they are some cheap tin material which doesn’t allow for them to work

I went to autozone O'Reilly napa walmart some auto local autoparts store and all of them were over $200 some as high as $500 I got scared since I needed it for my headlights but after all the repairs my car went through my bulb went out or so I thought bought a new bulb and nothing had it checked out and was told it was my ballast it seemed simple enough until I went price shopping I wanted something local just incase I had an issue and needed to return it or something but after seeing the price I was like bucket im gonna check Amazon less than $40 and IT WORKED/WORKS...YAY ME! love a good deal, thank you seller!

Works with the stock headlights on my 2013 Subaru WRX ("Limited" trim of that matters). I took off 1 star since it doesn't include a new rubber seal, and the igniter cable came loose off of the bulb (this might be because the cable isn't 100% w/ my car). I had to reuse the old rubber seal (make sure to coat it in a thin layer of silicone grease before installation to improve the seal & prevent the rubber from drying out & failing to seal).I also recommend sealing the gaps around where the igniter cable plugs into the ballast + the gaps around the wires on the brown connector with RTV silicone. My original ballast failed when a ton of water got into my headlight housing and shorted the contacts on the connector where the igniter cable plugs into the ballast.Despite Amazon saying this won't work for a 2013 WRX, the input voltage, output voltage, input connector, and form factor are all 100% identical to the OEM ballast. The igniter cable has come loose once so far in the few days I've had it installed tho. I might have to tack it in place with glue/epoxy.Note: I have not tried the bulb.

This was installed on my 2011 Infiniti G37. I originally purchased a new bulb thinking it went out. However, after replacing the bulb, light still didn’t turn on. Ballast was the culprit. The challenge with this fix is that to replace the ballast, the entire bumper must be removed to get to light housing. The ballast is located on bottom and only way to access is to remove housing. Ballast AND igniter must be replaced together. Old igniter might be difficult to remove since it is clipped to a plate just inside of housing. This fix is much cheaper than having the dealer do it which will cost you over $1000. Ballast is not a OEM part and is not sold by the dealer. It is included in a new light housing which will cost at least $900 new.
