Basic Fly Fishing: All the Skills and Gear You Need to Get Started (How To Basics)

I just finished a fly fishing class at the local Community College who recommended the book as an aide for the class. Very detailed book that covered all the requirements for the class and an asset for someone starting fly fishing.

This book is an OUTSTANDING introduction to fly fishing. Well written, great illustrations and photographs, this is truly the perfect book for someone getting into fly fishing. Very well explained, and perfectly compliments everything I've seen elsewhere (Youtube videos, other books, advice from fly shops, etc.).You just cannot find a better "Fly Fishing 101" book.Thanks for the great intro to the sport!

As an experienced fly fisherman wanting to prepare his inexperienced adult son for his first fly fishing trip, I found this gem to be the perfect introduction to the sport. Well written and well illustrated, I recommend this book to beginners and to experienced fly fisherpersons.

This book arrived in a sealed envelope but something obviously happened to it before it got in the envelope because it looks like the corners were all wet many of the pages were wet stuck together so I’m not very happy
