Vintage McCall's Patterns Notebook Collection

I ordered this for my seamstress mother as a present and she loves it! She used to take me to the fabric store as a child and we would always look at the patterns together. Very nostalgic and cute!

I put these in my Mom's Christmas stocking. She just called last week to tell me how much she loves them. She's almost 80 and they remind her so much of the patterns her mother used to make clothes for my mom and her sisters. I also put these in my daughter's (18) stocking because she loves to sew and make clothes and she thought they were total fun. I thought they looked like they'd stand up to use well.

These notebooks are adorable. I love that there are 3 in a pack and are all different. My mom does sewing, knitting, weaving and more so there's kind of one for each area. Inexpensive, unique gift that has such a cool vintage feel

I have had these in my wishlist for over a year and they finally went on 1/2 price sale, so I bought them. They are so cute, I am not disappointed. The back looks like a real pattern back. The inside pages look like a pattern. I can’t wait to use them. I hope I can get the notecards and diary too.

I bought these first a quilt shop (a set of three) I then found them on amazon and only paid half of what they cost at the quilt shop. They are really handy to use for notes and also as a cute gift for sewing friend.

This is the perfect gift for someone who sews. These notebooks return me to the 70s in a flash, back when my mom made a lot of our clothes, department stores still had a "Fabrics & Notions" section, and we were allowed to go through the catalogues to pick out an outfit, then find the pattern in the drawers below. Good times.The three notebooks are beautifully tied together with string and the notepaper inside is the colour of the tissue used for the patterns. Good attention to details, Chronicle Books.
