This key works perfectly. I had only one working key, so a dealer or locksmith had to program the key. I chose a locksmith. They charged 50 to program, 5 to cut the key and said "We can't guarantee this key will work. We do guarantee a key you buy from us." Their key costs 25, 10x more than this one. They cut and programmed my $25 key and it started the vehicle but they couldn't make the remote lock, unlock, alarm work. They explained "These Internet keys often come with bad batteries and some have faulty control boards." They replaced the battery but still couldn't program the remote features. I thanked them. When I got home I followed the instructions that came with the key to program the remote and it works like a charm, lock, unlock, alarm. I informed the locksmith how to program the remote so maybe they can help the next customer. I have a 2011 Ford F-250 XLT.

Easy to program and cut, works as intended

Don't expected to work like the original, but it does the job for less than half of the price. I had it for a few months already, and so far, no issues.

If you want this FOB key for a 2009 Ford Escape, don't bother. I took this key to a good locksmith and they said it couldn't be programmed. I was only wanting an extra FOB key as I am planning on selling it soon so I thought it would be nice for the buyer. I went ahead and had the key cut so at least they will have an extra key they can use on the door.

Works great!!!! Just like the factory IKT, except it programs more like a traditional key and fob. Range is excellent, just like an oem remote. The only difference is this one doesnt say Ford on the back and costs a whole lot less. I really could not be happier. Included very detailed instructions. Just had to have the key cut. Most stores like HD and Lowe's will do it for you for free.

1 key I was able to program and the other one wouldn't program.

Had no problems with the key and the price, trying to find someone to cut the key was another story. Chain store hardware won’t cut them and locksmith charging way to much because they also want to program it. Found a small hardware store( mom and pop ) who had no problem doing it.

Way cheaper then oem

Find a locksmith to cut the key and follow the procedures to get the ignition work. But you need to do the remote separately. Found the way online and just turned the key off to on eight times in 10 seconds. Left it on and pressed the remote two times. You're done! Don't know why Ford didn't say it on the owner's manual since it says the remote would programmed at the same time you do the ignition.

this product is good very good but they must check that the battery in the key was no good i end ed buying a new battery which is included i was going to rate it 5 stars but i give 4 i was not impress but it works

Got this to have as a spare.Price was very reasonable.Delivery was super fast (2days & free).Local hardware store cut it for me at no cost. Easy to program the key & the remote.I am a super happy customer.
