Very easy to use
I love how easy it is to use and get information from. It can be a little hard to read from an angle when plugged into the outlet in a dark area. Overall, a fantastic item at a great price.

Works mostly as expected
I'm using this it to find power hungry devices in my home, works as expected for the most part. I'm not sure of the accuracy yet, but expect it to be good enough.A couple of issues with the device, the LED display is only really visible/readable from head on, from any obtuse angle it is for all intents and purposes, invisible. It's a minor complaint. The cumulative time display seems to be useless. It is supposed to show mins and secs, and then after 60 mins, it should show hours and mins. However, once it ticks over to the hours and mins display, I am not sure what mine is displaying. There doesn't seem to be any correlation between the numbers it displays and the actual accumulative time, so I am forced to use a stopwatch on my phone.

Absolutely works so far
I compared it to a pretty expensive ups that had all sorts of digital intelligence about what was going on with my power and it consistently was very accurate, its response time is a little slow so if you were trying to do something critically real time perhaps not, but you can see immediately the effect of devices coming on and turning off and confirming all the things that a device like this can confirm for you. The display was reasonably readable-- for the price/accuracy I don't see a better deal. It's mostly plastic so perhaps durability and longevity is an issue but then it always is. One assumes these aren't going to last at this price point but that they solve a problem for a while without a heavy cost. (Except of course to the environment and to the survival of our species!)

Very simple, cost effective
It’s interesting to see the variations around the house. We are moving and this has been really helpful in planning. It opens up a lot of information that I didn’t have and I’d bet most people don’t think about much.

It's a good little meter, so far
Was going to measure the output from an inverter to the house like I saw in a youtube video. They plugged the meters into wall outlets and backfed the house with suicide cords. (this was not a safety video) THIS meter would not do it I'm guessing because power needs to flow FROM the male plug side TO the receptacle. just showed overload. So I plugged the cable into the inverters receptacle, then plugged my suicide cable from meter to wall. (Forward Flow!!) Works like a charm!!

Unit works but instructions suck
This is an easy-to-use device. Simply plug the unit into a power outlet or extension cord then plug in the appliance you wish to track into the front of the meter. Yes, you can only view the LCD screen from a straight-on view. Using an extension cord will enable the user to manipulate the unit for the best screen view. The results on my first use hooked to a 30-year-old small freezer seemed to acquire accurate results. Will next try on my 2-year-old LG refrigerator/freezer. That's the good news. The bad, is the instructions are next to worthless. Best to just look at the pictures and guess at how to set your local electrical costs. There is no instruction as to how to clear the data from previous use. The instructions discuss what to do if the display "appears abnormal". The user presses the RESET button, which appears to be a hole in the unit where you would stick a small nail or pin. Something so simple to clear the data appears as a major oversight by the unit designers. But for $25 you get what you pay for....

In general is a good cheap monitor. However, not compatable with APC UPS's
Works well, but we have an APC-BackUPS plugged into it. The APC indicates a building wiring fault. However, if I connect a building wiring checker, is shows everything correctly.
