Q: Sorry if I’m being thick, but don’t understand sizing. If I’m female, size 12/14, any idea if this will fit me?

You're not thick, don't think it had normal sizing listed. I'd say it would fit you as there are long adjustable straps. I've actually attached mine to the back of my power wheelchair (like a normal car driver's seat) and there was still quite a bit of strap left for adjustment.

Q: Can i use it in the rain?

I'm not sure how waterproof it is as I have only used it in a light shower that didn't affect it.

Q: What is maximum size it will fit, or can I but extension clips

It has straps the same as a rucksack so it can be adjusted once on.

Q: How does the Vest and remote control pair?

The vest and controller are already paired up so you don't have to do anything. Just keep the vest charged up and you're good to go.
