Took a chance but ended in an fiery, all consuming, tragedy.
**UPDATE** These all seem to have the same 'defect', they used M3 screws in M4 holes and threads. The quick fix is to go to your hardware store and pick up two 30mm, M4 cap-head set screws and you will be good-to-go! I also picked up an M4x.7 tap to chase the threads, applied a drop of anti-seize and tightened to 30 inch pounds.OK, I wanted to like this mount, the price was right and the minimalist design also spoke to me. I got the package and the first thing I noticed was the horrible box, totally blown apart. I opened it and took out the mount, went over it from top to bottom, checking for parallel and was delighted that the mount and the rail both matched up well.I then attempted to mount it to a pew-pew, the screws would not even take the preliminary 15 inch pound pre-torque, the spun freely. I measured the screws and mic'd the holes, it looks as if they used the wrong drill bit and didn't have enough base metal to run threads. If I knew they fixed this problem, I would give it another chance but I just don't trust this manufacturer.

It works on my Dan Wesson 715 4" pellet airgun
I originally tried the Dan Wesson Accessory Rail but that didn't work on my 715 4 inch barrel airgun. Although not silver like my airgun, it does work with no modifications. One nice advantage of this rail adapter is that it allows me to use either the hard original sights or the reticular I mounted (See picture). I suppose there are folks that would consider a "scope" on a pistol excessive, however I have to where trifocals and when using the gun sights target alignment becomes a real challenge.

This works great as long as you follow "The Building Guy" comments below. I bought the M4 bolts and Blue Loctite, I have put over 200 rounds in a 2 week period threw my Sig Saucer M7 p230 and have had on issues

Top and bottom rails are not parallel
This is a good quality machined aluminum product. It mounts correctly and firmly on a S&W SD9VE and also a Ruger Security-9. However, the top and bottom rails are not parallel! The top rail sits lower at the back than at the front. If you zero a red dot scope at 10 yards it will work great at 10 yards, but you will hit about 6" above POA at 25 yards, a foot high at 50 yards, and two feet at 100 yards. That's without factoring in ballistics. It is completely worthless for mounting a scope. They really blew it in design!

Not right for my gun
This product did not fit my 1911 well at all. Although it was sturdy in the manufacturing, the actual performance was unstable and not usable.

The Building Guy's comment
As many others have said The Building Guy's comment isthe best workarround for a solid stable mount , I am using it for airsoft and did not want tho go that route so what i did for now to get it to fit batter was grab some random thin foam spacers cut them to lay over the mounting rail parts and that did the trick for now though i imagine that under plenty of force it will not last but thats for me to find out jus providing something that worked for me. other then that i think the product is ok.
