Great features, Great upgrade at a reasonable price.
UPDATE 7 months later. Really love this SMART WIFI garage door opener. The wife made me replace her door opener immediately so I now have two to review. Never a issue in 7 months. The app works great to notify you and open/close the doors remotely. Not once has the door not closed correctly on the first try. Smooth and quiet opener. My old Genie screw drive opener went out after 16 years of use. Any electronic that you can get 15 years of problem free use out of is a solid product. I have only had this new opener installed for a week so far.Lots of options with openers nowadays.1) Battery backup - this model doesn't have it and I didn't feel that it served much purpose for me. I am capable of pulling the handle to release the door if there is a power outage which is short term and rare in Illinois. An extra $100 plus the maintenance involved in the battery made me rule out that option.2) Wifi - To sum it up if you are on the fence. Buy this model which includes the SMART Connect functions. I have a ton of connected devices in my house. I asked myself do I really care about wifi on a garage door opener. I didn't think I would. I have a WYZE cam in my garage to tell me if I accidently left the garage door open which happens often when you are 3 blocks away from the house. Did I need a connected opener also? I have found out the answer is yes. Not only can you open and close the door through the FREE and awesome Aladdin app it will tell you whether the door is currently closed or open. The app is super simple to use - you can get notifications each time the door is opened or closed - or not if you choose. It also has an easy way to add Siri capability to open and close. Now I can pull on my block and just say Hey Siri open the Truck Garage. I don't even need to carry a door opener now. I can open and close the door from anywhere in the world now. I can now create a rule in the app to close the door if I left it open after 1045pm. Pretty cool.3) Install. Took about 1 hour to disassemble my old Genie. The new one took me about 3 hours to install. I do a lot of home projects so I am quite handy. The instructions could be slightly better. I read the paper instructions, I can't comment on the video instructions. Overall install is easy. I wish they would clarify the turnbuckle belt attachment step. Also they never detailed how to lock in the door for the first time and properly run. After the instructions were finished I thought I was ready to run the door. However it only lift the door 3 feet. I messed around for 30 minutes trying different things thinking it was a hardware problem. The issue however lies in the 2nd set of instructions which is the programming portion. I figured the remotes come preprogrammed I don't have to read those instructions since I dont have Homelink buttons inside my F150. What they should clarify on the first set of instructions is the programming instructions includes the LIFT and CLOSE "learning". You have to press certain buttons so the opener learns where to stop to open and close the door. I was used to the old opener that had a small switch on the track that physically was moved to tell the opener where to open and close.Long story short. Read the Programming guide. This should be included on the first set of instructions in my opinion.4) Quietness. While I didn't want anything super quiet this opener is much smoother and quieter. My second garage door with another 16 year old genie now sounds like a train rolling in. I can now barely hear the garage door through the inside house door. The belt drive is certainly recommended over the screw drive.5) Downsides. I should have bought this much sooner. Well worth $209. Withing one day the wife said I now have to buy her side of the garage a new one also. Can I consider that a downside? The second install will likely be super quick. I bet I can have the old one down in 30 minutes and the new one up in under 1 hour. So far no downsides, buy one if you are in the market.

Great Installation Instructions.
My old garage door opener stopped working this winter and I needed a new one and after looking I decided on the Genie QuietLift Connect – WiFi Smart Garage Door Opener with Added Wireless Keypad, ¾ HPC Smart Belt Drive – Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, Model 3053-TKV because of some of the added features. Here are my thoughts on the garage door opener:PROS:1) The installation instructions come on one big sheet of paper and it steps you through with adequate pictures and details to accomplish the install.2) Programing the remotes, the keypad, my car, and connecting to my wifi and the app were all easy to do and went just as the instructions stated.3) Adjusting the door travel was also easy to do.4) This is a very quite garage door opener. My garage door makes more noise than the opener. So if you have an attached garage this is certainly a bonus.5) The 3/4 hp motor has ample power to lift my single stall garage door. I think the old one was a 1/2 hp so you should be able to handle a much larger door than what I have with this unit.6) The keypad entry unit is wireless! I was thankful that I did not have to run another wire to be able to install the keypad. You just program it with the garage door and screw it on at a convenient location.7) The app is easy to use and lets you know if your door is open or closed. No more wondering after you left if you had forgotten to close the door.CONS:1) The rail that the arm slides on to open and close the door is made out of several segments that slide together. The segments do not join super smoothly so the plastic slide bumps and jumps at each joint in the rail. My old garage door had a single piece rail and the slide was metal. I worry about the wear that will occur on the plastic slide as it rubs on these joints (Pic 2).2) I was hopeful that I could use all the existing stuff from my old garage door opener and just replace the motor unit. No way. To many different type parts so: the rail, the eye sensors the brackets, everything had to be replaced. If you are replacing an old unit , do not get your hopes up that all you will have to do is drop out the old motor and install the new one. What can I say, I am an optimist and expect things to always go easy!3) The instructions are good, but expect it to take a day to install. You will also need some accurate measuring tools to find the centerline of the garage door so you can then locate where the brackets that hold the rail and the bracket on the door should be placed.4) It seems to be set up more for a wooden garage door. My door is a cheap sheet metal door so I had to do a little winging it to make a solid support for the garage door bracket. It may have taken a Saturday to install, but once it is in it is working flawlessly and now I have multiple ways of opening my garage door and ways of allowing my kiddos to get in to the garage to find a tool they need. If my kiddos are reading this, put the tools back when you are done with them! :>) I would purchase this product again and I recommend this garage door opener.

Very satisfied
pretty quiet very strong. I was install incorrect and it ripped the bolts out the wall because of the spring tension being to high. but i got it install correctly and i love it 10 times better than the one i had before and way quieter

No bad - This is for a 7 foot garage door! Make sure you measure!
The installation went pretty smooth. The only issue I had was that the instructions didn’t clearly state that the turnbuckle attaches to the carriage assembly. After I figured that out, the rest went great! Easy to configure the app and I love the Smart Control features.Edit:Door stops a foot short on my 8 foot garage door. This unit is for a 7 foot garage door. My fault for not reading the description. I wish it more clearly stated this. I have to buy the extension kit and reinstall.
