Well made, screws on evenly
Well made, screws on evenly. Lot of these have poor tracking for the screw thread and end up causing a lot of damage.

Great for the price
Bought at $9.9 and they work great on my canon and instant camera.

Nice add on.
I had ordered and got a set all-ready (from someone else), how ever they were not the wright size for my Lens.I love the price & no shipping cost on these Vivitar Macro filters (glass), So I ordered them. I got them in 3 days and have had a time to try them out. They are very good. (Even better if you talk about the price.) I have done hand held shots & had very good output. With add support (tripod) They will most likely do even better.I found them a nice add on to my bag. Money well spent. They did say the size (mm) in the part # and on the order.Thank youScott Haddock

Great Value, Decent Product
There was a small scratch on the front of one lens, but nothing that seems to impact image quality.Don't expect to get the results you would with an actual macro lens. Depth of field gets more and more cut off the higher you go with these filters. You cannot get two sets and attach two +10s together, as the front of the element protrudes too much.

Crystal clear and sharp imaging!
These lenses allow me to get up close and personal for TRUE macro photography. I stack all 4 lenses for optimal magnification.I bought these thinking that the distortion would be pretty bad. I was really surprised to see that the distortion near the rim of the 10x lens is only around 20% of the entire lens. And the distortion with all 4 lenses stacked is not much more than that, around 25% around the rim, so still quite useable!- Extremely satisfied!- Well worth the price!

Very, Very pleasantly surprised....!
Wow.. I can't believe how well these work. Very nice quality. Iv'e tried these on my Canon EF 50mm 1.4 USM, 75-300mm IS USM, Tamron 28-85mm VC and no matter what combination or alone they so impressed beyond my expectations. I like them better than my extension tubes except they aren't as convenient. It's nice to be able to use the tubes on one lens and these on another, or a little of both to find just the right framing and magnification. These pics represent my 1st test shots with a 50mm 1.4 with the 10+ and 2+ & 4+ together. Obviously I should have gotten a flat bill, heh....good luck.Mike

Great set, Great price.
I am using these to photograph some vintage pocket watch's, to sell on Ebay. Some review's have stated some issues with this set, but I see no issues at all. This a quality set of lenses at a great price and there is nice case to store them in.

Great for amateur, not so for serious shooters.
For amateur use, these close-up lenses are OK and very funny. You can make excellent portraits and take some amazing shots of small and tiny things like coins spiders or flowers. If you use them for what they are made for, normal conditions, on a standard camera, close shots and portraits they will work quite good, OK!.Used stacked on a Sony HX100V, taking advantage of its large zoom to do macro shots, they are just OK (some come out very good). But in contrasting lighting situations and particularly getting closer to the borders of the frame a strong chromatic aberration appears, the stronger the lens (+1, +2, +4 to +10) used, the stronger the chromatic aberration is gotten. But remember, that is while using the HX100V powerful zoom with Vivitars lenses stacked on it for doing extreme macro, a very exigent situation indeed. Conclusion:In high quality demanding situations, extreme macro photos, enlarging or make big prints they're not so.For amateur, standard cameras and not so exigent purposes: OK, they do a very good job.
